Plagarism

This is the West Point Leadership Paper. It gows through all of this. If Mr Sanders is trying to pass this idea off as his own then he is going to have problems. This is not some brainstorm. Maybe he should go to a West Point Leadership class....itll blow his mind.

Hey Plagarism: The article says they got the idea from a book and it credits the authors. Looks straight to me, West Point Boy.

The truth

Anyone who desires to be a police officer should be disallowed from doing so.

Are you serious?

Err, if you were to actually read the publication you would find that the authors cited their sources, just like the authors of the West Point Leadership course you mention. OBVIOUSLY, Sanders and his co-author are NOT trying to pass the idea off as their own...they are merely writing about it. Just because you read about the same topic in two different publications, it does not automatically mean that one of them is a plagiarized work. Discussing and writing about ideas is part of how we increase knowledge in our country. Besides, do you honestly believe that a highly respected organization like the U would allow a plagiarized work to be published with their name on it? NO WAY!

PLEASE seek a college education for it will help to:

1. Learn how to spell PLAGIARISM;
2. Learn what plagiarism actually is;
3. How to express yourself better in writing.

BTW - I would guess that SERGEANT Sanders is at least aware of the West Point Leadership course, and would not be surprised to learn he has actually attended it. Who knows, maybe Stefaniak and Sanders even cited some of the same sources. The article is worth reading.

Err, if you were to actually read the article you would find that the authors properly cited their sources, just like the authors of the West Point Lesdership course you mention. Discussing and writing about ideas is how we increase knowledge in our society. Besides that, do you honestly think the U is going to published a plagiarized work? They do scrutinize what comes to them you know.

Do you mean the DOD's 1st person 'Shooter' gaming isn't just a way to wile away your time? Thanks Al Gore, you've made a nation of zombies. (violent zombies)

GY's

This is scary. These kids have grown up with video games. What will happen when they are faced with a real situation? With they react as if they are playing "grand theft auto". These kids often have difficulty knowing reality. In addition, how many times has your order at McDonald's been wrong because the lazy kid is texting. GY's are lazy and don't know the true meaning of work. It is a scary situation.

I have worked both for a police department and now currently work in college marketing for a company that helps companies and government agencies recruit students, I understand the quote "in order to attract and retain the younger generation, superiors must first understand them." This is the biggest issue facing all companies today. GenY is WAY different than GenX. These differences are forcing recruiters to market themselves differently and speak to them in a new way to avoid attrition. It often requires some big changes to your company/work culture.
