Great job Micail! Word of your First Place award has already reached Israel--near the Sea of Galilee, to be exact. As the mother of four daughters, I read your essay with tender feelings--your memories certainly rang true for me. I remember those anxious and hopeful minutes (or hours) in front of the mirrors in our home in Hyde Park. My daughters referred to those hours at the mirror as "the process." Best wishes, Micail. By the way-- debate was the best thing I ever did at Logan High. My coach, Weston Henrie not only prepared us for the upcoming meet, he prepared us for life. Our outstanding debate coach at Sky View, I'm sure, has done the ssme. Congratulations!
