Isn't it funny that S.A. can be missing 2 of their best players to injury Parker and Ginobli yet their reserves step up? A Rookie point guard mind you steps up and scores and runs the team like a veteran. Sloan wouldn't hear of that(starting a rook point guard) but that is why Popovich is heads and shoulders a better coach than Jerry. This Jazz system is well known around the league and every team exposes it's weaknesses nightly. I like the effort of Price but he is no starting point guard in this league and never will be. Mentally he just doesn't have it, same for C.J. Why keep the same players if the results don't change? One of the weakest road teams in the league if not the weakest. Way to lay another road egg Jazz.
Would you like to switch places with San Antonio right now? Have you seen their record?
Our guys have stepped up, just not last night. Wake up dude!
THE SPURS MADE A REDICULOUS AMOUNT OF THREE POINTERS I DONT THINK IT WAS SO MUCH THE JAZZ NOT PLAYING WELL AS IT WAS THE SPURS COULDNT MISS A SHOT
Get some good ones ready even if they do make the playoffs for 1 and done. Same old talk by fans, players, and coachs. Nothing has changed, just keep paying that fat pay check to these fat heads, and everything will workout? Yea we have been down that road for 20 years now, please call when you have something different to offer.
HA! Pop said that Sloan was in a different league?!?!?! yeah, sloans in the minor leagues compared to him....how many rings does Pop have?? Sloan? Sloan is a good coach, but face it, he gets outcoached by the top coaches in this league...Pop, Jackson come to mind right away..... Sloan is just missing that one tiny little thing i cant put my finger on thats preventing these guys to become elite and win a title...just like the Malone/Stockton teams.... even w/ jordan, they shoulda won one of those titles...
The Jazz system is built around DWill and Boozer. SA is built around Duncan, 3 point shooters and defense. Utah needs to get some people who can play defense and Miller needs to tell Sloan to start using the 3 and get some people who can actually hit them.
It has to come from the top. Sloan can add 3 point shooting and defense but KOC and Miller will have to insist on it and get people who will deliver it.
The Jazz Corporate Culture is the problem. Maybe Greg Miller will actually do something about it.
