Nice deflection.
Trying to pass the responsibility for a poorly calculated political move to the Catholics after running lead during the entire process.
This sounds like the little brother saying "Well, Timmy ate one too!!!"
Time for someone to grow up here.
To the 6:10 poster,
The church has in no way apologized or backed down from its support of Proposition 8.
We can not claim so responsibility for its passing, because it only passed by our working with other people of faith. We must remember that such alliances are both doable and neccesary to pass these and similar measures and work on cultivating the relationships that will allow us to pass such measures in the future.
Again to DennyG,
You should pay attention to the origin of articles. This was not written by Latter-day Saints or originally published by them. It was published by the San Francisco Chronicle, that has almost as many anti-Catholics on its staff as the Tribune has anti-Mormons, and is part of the left wing anti-establishment movement. They hate Mormons and they hate Catholics. This is no attempt to defend the Mormons, just an attempt to make sure the vitriol gets spread to more people.
