That was embarrasing. I don't care who missed the game. Jerry, please do me a favor. PLEASE tell the guys to GUARD THE 3! Yes, I know it's a lower percentage shot, but we lose all momentum when they hit a couple of those in a row.
What a horrendous outing. We've been a horrible road team. Yes, it'd be nice to have a healthy team, but shouldn't we regardless at least beat the likes of the Bobcats, Knicks, and Wizards?

BoOoOo or however you spell it. CJ had 16. I said 14, you said 17. Guess you win by 1. Great showing by the Jazz once again in San Antonio.

Get this straight. Ist off, there are only 2 players on this team that have any heart and that is Milsap and D-Will. The rest are pretenders. Heart requires effort, a backbone, a spine,,fortitude, a mindset and determination. 2nd every team in this league every year has their best 3 point shooting night, and best offensive production against the Jazz. This coaching staff must not have discovered what films are yet. How come we can,t defend the three and never have and other teams can? It,s time too call a spade a spade. Move over Sloan and let someone else take the reins. This man doesn't like the three, doesn't want his players shooting them and likewise thinks the three won't beat you. Well guess what it does and has for too many years now. His subsitutions are terrible, his defensive schemes are worse and 1000 wins is enough-RETIRE.

Same Jazz...Different Day

Maybe someone should tell Sloan 45 to 50% 3 shooting beats 50 percent 2 shooting every night. The Jazz will never contend for a championship let alone get there if Sloan keeps letting other teams shoot 3s uncontested. 19 3s has to be the ultimate embarrassment for the Jazz. Why are the the Jazz commentators and announcers afraid to point out the obvious. Sloan's "pack it in defense" may work for a high school team, but not in the NBA! And why doesn't sloan have a 3 set up offense? The only 3s shots the Jazz get are when the other team makes a defensive mistake, and are always heavily contested!! 2 rookie no names killed the Jazz tonight. Wise up Sloan or get out!!!

The jazz had a nine point lead, in the first quarter-where did it go bad? My man cj started standing outside the three point line waiting for passes, why? it doesn't matter. when he's moving and initating movement the jazz are a better team. so cj stands around waiting for passes, because he feels like scoring. energy goes down, the game is about movement and motion, and my man is standing around; i haven't forgotten, cj is our fifth starter, his primary job is to keep moving, to initate movement. the jazz system is built on everyone doing their job, so, because cj can score, but isn't moving, what do you do, what's worse for the team, he's a good player, but the jazz don't need him to score, until he kills the motion by not moving, then we need him to score, but the motion is gone, get with it man.

SA has built thier team around the PF position. So have the Jazz. However, there is one big difference. SA also makes sure they have a strong 3 point capability so that they can bust clogging up the middle. The Jazz delibertly dispise the 3. SA has how many rings? The Jazz?

This is Sloan and KOC's fault. The Jazz have been this way for decades. If SA can get the players for reasonable so can the Jazz.

If the Jazz won't play defense on the road that is also Sloan and KOC's fault. Get players who will.
Miller | 10:37 p.m. Nov. 21, 2008
Miller needs to demand that Sloan develop some 3 capability. It is something that can be developed. This team can't rely on Korver all of the time.

SA has several rings because they play the inside game but have set plays and players who can hit the 3 to take pressure off of the inside. That makes thier inside game better and easier. The Jazz force it in and hope to beat the big quick defenders (good luck).

Further, if this team can't win on the road then Miller needs to get some players who will play on the road.

There should be enough talent on this team to have a winning road record. Either it is coaching or player selection (KOC and Miller).

For the people who say sloan needs to retire cuz he makes to many mistakes calm down and take a chill pill cuz you will just probably pretend you supported sloan all the way when we win!

The Spurs are the Jazz' albatros - they just can't get these guys from around their neck.
Almond | 11:12 p.m. Nov. 21, 2008
Develop Almond as a 3 point shooter. His D is close to Korver's. At least we would have 2 people who could hit the 3 and not have to rely on Korver who is streaky.

Further, Sloan has to develop some 3 point sets or the Jazz are never going to go in the play offs. The game has changed and Sloan's philosophy is obsolete. The Jazz will get beat by any team that can hit the 3.

Denver shut Duncan and the 3 ballers down. Yes that would be the mighty defensive juggernaut the Denver Nuggets.

I doubt if the Jazz can stay ahead of the Nuggets. They have no road capability and can be bombed at will.
KOC needs to waive Collins, Fez and Almond if the Jazz are not going to get the rebounds defense and shooting out of them that they need. Boston and LA have options. They play match ups. They do not have a set rotation of x minutes each night regardless of how a player is playing (defensively or offensively). They jerk people and replace them.

The Jazz need to get out of the dark ages and play in this century.
