I think it's rich that Shields and Hoole are on opposite sides of this case. Hoole works for Fischer's Diversity Foundation and Shields works for Wisan who was paid $10,000 by the Diversity Foundation to take over the trust. It's amazing no one sees the conflict of interest. Wisan and Shields have settled other lawsuits involving the trust with Diversity, and now they are making a pretense at defending the trust?
Fischer has proven that if you want to win the battle you have to fund both sides.
pay out of the trust. if all FLDS money goes into the trust, and the FLDS is being sued, then the trust is what you go after.
the trust IS the church.
Ok....so the trust is the church. Kinda shoots the ole FLDS is not a church argument.
Walls wants her money and will take it from the deepest pockets she can find. Jeffs owns nothing so gotta take money from the ones she wants to save....what a joke.
I bet Dan Fischer is being entertained by the drama and will be the only one that gets his moneys worth out of this.
"take the money from the ones she wants to save"... what? she wants to save the FLDS leaders? didn't know that...
Fact is - since the women and children never get any of the trust money, and actually give their state welfare checks to the trust, so it makes perfect sense to take the money from the trust to pay the lawsuit. It's not like taking money from the women and children - they were going to get any of it anyway.
Now if the women would get some backbone and care about their children more than their religion, then the trust would have A LOT less money and the kids would have better living conditions. Too bad the religion is the ONLY thing they care about...
So the UEP trust is not a the FLDS church when the State wants to take the money, but when Ellisa wants to take the money they are one and the same.
Shocking that no ones see a problem with the people representing Walls giving a $10,000 gift to the trustee for his fees.
" " represents you ears and the emptiness between them.
thanks. That makes me a genius compared to the FLDS camp....
Now now children....can we all just get along. Seems I saw something in the rules for this sit that said something about being civil.
RC may be a bit focused in his outlook but hey......without a bit of levity this whole subject would be kinda boreing.......
