Polical figures love to use buzz words and sound bites to spread a message that reflects what they hope will resonate with people like Misty. Once the elction is over is when the real test of leadership starts - In President Obama's case I still am waiting to see the "Change" he spoke of so often. I wonder how Washington is going to change if he keeps aligning with the same old faces from Washington. I guess I am like that Wend'y commercial and am still asking: "Where's the beef?"

All I see is more of the same Washington fertizer.

As someone who was at the very first Utah for Obama meeting in February of 2007, I can say that Misty was not on "almost before there was a [band]wagon."

She built the bandwagon.

And many of us are grateful to her for that.

What change? Let's see, the lawyer who approved Mark Rich's pardon, Hilary, the former Senate Majority leader, Rahm, should I go on?

What change? All of Obama's apointees are Clinton retreds, Napolitano excepted. No change at all. Just the same old politics. He ought to grow a pair and appoint people who haven't been in Washington. Now that would be change.

Bob, you helped build the bandwagon, as did so many other people - Janet, Gail, Theo, Nikki, Mark, Duchess, and so many more. We all did this together, it most certainly wasn't just me that did it.

As far as you other commenters - Obama has already shown change, and will continue to. For example, he has already put the VP back in the Executive Branch, if you look at the chart he published. And the reason his message resonated with me wasn't a bunch of fancy words. It was because I saw what he'd already accomplished, and knew that we finally had a genuine candidate who I agreed with. It's a great thing, especially after having been disillusioned with politics after so many years of Bush!

Mike and Wendy, A couple of points, the first is this is a story about Misty, if your upset about the outcome of the election you should have worked harder for YOUR candidate, the point is Misty kicked butt, and you sat on yours.

Secondly there is a real change, a change of perspective, finally believing thing will actually get better. You sit and complain about your government, but never do anything about it. So the change is people like us stop listening to people like you. Get involved or get out of the way.

Congratulations for choosing the person to back that YOU thought would do the best job for you, your family and the country and not just choose a political party and follow along like blind sheep. Always vote for the person not the party, do your research and make your own choice. YOU GO GIRL!!

As for the naysayers that don't believe there will be change, why don't you save your comments until President Elect Obama takes office and see if there is real change or not? Who he picks as his team for his administration is just that, his team, he is the captain and the plays are up to him, if his team members don't preform well they will be off the team quickly enough. People like Mike R. try to predict the outcome of the game before it is even played because they don't like the other teams players.

I'm with you Misty and will cheer Barack Obama's team all the way.
