The best peaches I've ever had were from Utah. They beat Georgia peaches.

I chuckle when I think of those poor Georgians learning that there are really great peaches from other places than their own beautiful state.

It is also interesting to ponder the Christlike donations from the Church. How many other religious groups give so much?

This made me think of the time I put up 300 quarts of peaches and pears back in the early eighties when times were pretty rough. These peaches and pears sustained our family for a year. The LDS church willing gives and yet receives so much criticism. I wonder if the gay community eats the LDS' fruit.

In these economic times it is a great idea for individual people around the nation (and world) to plant fruit and nut trees, bushes, plants and vines for fruit and vegetables. Once a tree is established,the fruit comes for 20-30+ years depending on the fruit.

These things provide security and good health. We could create a garden paradise and choose useful pets that give milk or eggs etc. That would give us true freedom and security. Victory Gardens were used after the wars to sustain the people. For us, it would also lessen the need for fuel to transport food around the nation, and that cuts pollution.
