Daschle to replace Leavitt at HHS in Obama Cabinet

Funny how a former Senator unpopular at home can be so popular in Washington D.C.
As an aside we can only hope Harry Reid is so unpopular at home his constituents will vote him out of office next election. Pelosi, being from San Fran. is so popular with those "progressive" constituents she could win re-election without seeking office.
I'm going to suffer? No, this is like a survivor who had had to live off insects and lizards being feed steak. After eight years of Bush how can things get worst?
Now instead of Daschle only not representing the interests of South Dakota voters, he may get a chance to not represent voters of the other 49 states.
His selection makes perfect sense - remember America, the government, regardless of party, is not your friend. Government representatives are agents of: 1. their own interests, relatives and friends, 2. their own re-election, and 3. their special interest lobbist masters.
I hear if Franken loses the election runoff in Minnesota (we all know he will not lose) Franken will be asked to make sure the education system standards remain so low that schools keep producing uneducated voters so the dems can remain in power indefinitely. Should be easy for him.
Thanks for the change Obama.
The neo cons just cannot get past that they lost!
Can't wait for the fireworks! Change is coming for sure, a change for the worse.
