Holder led Waldholtz fraud investigation

Rather than vent in generalities why not give us some specifics about whom you refer when saying "...surrounding himself with people that were despised by the American people...". "Fresh" does not equate with "untested" which is much of what the former Vice Presidential candidate of the Republican ticket offered. While I agree that the established "old DC" network is something to be avoided wouldn't you agree that a cabinet full of unproven, out of touch and unskilled political "wannabe's" would be disastrous especially in the face of the crises such as those we are now facing not to mention when dealing with foreign countries?
Our President-elect has the freshness of which you spoke but is tempering his staff with people knowledgable in the realities of our political system and world government interfaces. Why is such a broad-based approach being decried? I guess the old adage is true: "You can't please all the people all the time" and unfortunately in your case, and people like you, you will never be pleased.
REF: BH. You are painting the American people with a very broad hate brush. Not all Americans feel the same way as you when it comes to the Clinton Administration, please include only those that you know in your diatribe not the general population.
Talk about lies you would have to go a far distance to find a bigger liar than George W. Bush, that is why the Republicans have lost not only the White House but congress as well.
Wake up and realize that there are 49 states besides Utah.
We tried to tell you before you guys voted for him. Since this election was not based on substance, no one seemed to care at the time of purchase.
nominated Attorney General.
President-elect Obama isn't a fool and isn't going to select his entire cabinet from people who have no experience in Washington even though he will make such selections if they are warranted.
This is a damned if he does and damned if he doesn't proposition. If he chooses people with no Washington experience he will be criticized for only selecting novices and if he only selects people with inside the beltway experience he will be criticized because he didn't choose people who didn't come from outside of the beltway.
Obama as far as we can see is making the selections based on who he thinks will be in the best interest of the country. Holder has professional experience at Justice and has even served as Acting Attorney General before Bush replaced him with John Ashcroft. This isn't a position that you pick someone who does not have experience and Obama realizes it nor would anyone without extensive experience be confirmed by the Senate.
President-elect's don't go through a phone book and randomly pick people to fill cabinet positions. They choose from people who can help them make informed decisions because of their experience.
Maybe when Obama refers to "recycling" he is talking about his cabinet.
Great person to run to Department of Justice. Nice to know if you have money and connections the rules don't apply.
No one would make you happy, except Mitt Romney in office (because he's LDS)....even though he's actually more liberal than Obama. Really.
You either are not old enough to remember or have a short memory and do not read if you do not know about the inferences said by BH. The specifics are in the article itself and clearly refer to the nearly 200 pardons that Clinton passed out like candy to convicts who paid for his campaign. Read the article. The people who elected this guy do not truly understand the risk to national security that will come with someone whose family is in and from another country. He is NOT a BLACK man as his wife swears but his mother his white and this should anger mother everywhere. This does not make him "fresh.....exciting" as you may wish him to be but yet another who practices political spin to his advantage. I don't think McCain was necessarily the answer either but believe that Sarah Palin has more real political experience than the 3 years in state congress and 3 years in U.S. congress that Obama has. Those, by the way, are specifics and points of fact. He is doing what Bill did; both lawyers are made proud surrounding themselves with scapegoats that'll takethefall.
Your agenda is obvious. You carry yet another hate remark against LDS and try to insult us by saying that Mitt Romney is more liberal than Obama. That is just plain incorrect. Obama was labeled, by liberal magazines, as the most liberal individual in all of congress, ever. And we end up electing him. That is crazy, not just plain silly.
Romney is a decent man, regardless if he is LDS but you seem to believe that he is liberal and LDS which doesn't mix, if ever, at home or in Washington. You probably cannot name a single liberal thing about him except how long he goes between haircuts or how much hairspray it must take to keep his mop in place. Apply liberally does not mean they are a liberal politician. It means put a lot on, just like the bologna that is applied liberally by liberals in congress and the presidency when elected. Watch how many of the true free thinkers are made shut up or gone after by ATF and any other federal arm like under Clintons with disastrous results. Hopefully, this torture we have opted for will only last 4 years.
There is no change coming. This is politics as usual. Making promises with no track record is always easier than keeping them.
Do you not remember that Al Gore would not even acknowledge his relationship with Clinton during his campaign because it was so negative to be associated with him?
I think you have a convenient memory. What Clinton gave us was 8 years of dishonesty and no leadership and most policticians were ashamed to admit they even knew him.
which had nothing to with clinton or gore, but everything to do with entrepenuers and captialism and businessmen.
and not matter who would have been president at that time, the economy would still have benefited.
It was just luck of the draw.
I am a committed, conservative Republican with many years of experience as a politcal professional in Washington, D.C. I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA!
More importantly, I am a patriotic American who loves my country. When the election is over, we all come together, support our new president, wish him the best and do everything we can to help him succeed. That's the American Way. Let's not be bad winners or losers--EITHER ONE.
If he doesn't do a good job, we can hire someone else in four years. But, for now, we need to put aside this mean-spirited nastiness and do everything we can to help our country and our new president succeed.
This is exactly the message I was able to deliver to my 8th graders here in CA. Yeah, maybe our guy won, and maybe he lost, but we are all Americans who need to work, hope, and pray for a positive change in our country's political climate. Tearing down and insulting simply leads to more of the same. It never builds up and improves relationships or political situations. It is really a matter of maturity.
I only hope there are enough adults left in this world who care enough to make sure that the generations to come will make a positive difference by being mature and responsible doers, not whiners and complainers.
My guy lost, now my president is the other guy. I'm worried, but I will do what I can to make the best of it. Perhaps that is what we can do to assure that there is not a Clinton relapse.
Let's hope so! When the good offices of President of the United States are put up for sale, there ought to be some accountability. Bill Clinton skated, of course. But to reward the architect of one of those White House fire sales with a position as the AG?
C'mon!
Not an auspicious beginning for President Obama.
Too bad he didnt take out Osama Bin Laden when he had the chance.....
Hatch is just another cog in a huge corrupt political machine.
Mr. Funny and Bennett have been in D.C. for a long, long time and they are just as responsible as Frank, Dodd, Pelosi ,etc. for the economic meltdown happening now.
Mr.Funny and his sidekick are no better then the "dirty" people they investigate.
Yet.
Give it 4 years under Obama. Then, those of you too young to remember how bad things were under Jimmy Carter will have a common frame of reference with the rest of us.
When gas is $10 a gallon, unemployment is 20%, the Dow is lower than the "misery index" (invented during the Carter years), pirates are operating off our shores, and the UN sends peacekeepers to New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles -- then you'll have an idea what bottoming out really is.
I also hope with your doom and gloom attitude that you have saved well and don't have any debt as you won't make it through this alive if you didn't. Good Luck with your Meds.

Obama was elected on a platform of being fresh, and not part of the old DC establishment. That he would not be part of the problem. Yet, here he is filling key staff positions, surrounding himself with people that were despised by the American people because they were part of the problem.
It is clear that we have elected another liar. Where will it go from here? Only downhill.
