When I was a high school senior, our decidedly non athlete student body president decide it would be "fun" if the loser of the rivalry game got the key to the city. Players on both sides thought it a pretty lame idea, since fans on both sides resided in the same city. Duh!
This SLC / Provo city council idea is just as lame. Some people never outgrow high school I guess. Obviously many residents of Provo are Ute fans and many in SLC are Y fans. This isn't city versus city. Grow up a little and make the wager more unique to the rivalry. Are you going to convince me that every member of the SLC council is dyed in the wool red and vice versa?
