points. When you play a running team you need athletes on the floor to keep up.
Look at CJ go. So to all you haters, Hummmmm...looks like he produced again.
He was the one of the bright spots on the horrible road trip. Now if Sloan
would wake up and give my man some minutes.

Good job by Miles. I agree with Slon that he needs to improve his difence. I
actually thought Morris did best out of three young wing players trying to stay
in front of James the other night. I want to see Morris a bit more if he can
difend like that!

C. J.'s play will demand minutes inspite of Sloan. Now we have to work on
getting Fesenko some minutes. He's another diamond in the rough that could
really help this team.

Well, even a blind squirrel...
Before we get too excited about Miles' supposedly fantastic game, take a look at Matt Barnes' numbers. Both he and CJ had almost identical results. So, yes, Sloan is justified in pointing out that Miles didn't do much defensively.
I'm not too big on +/- numbers as a measure of an individual game - it's more telling if you look at a larger sample size. However, it was interesting to note that CJ had a -6, meaning that Phoenix outscored the Jazz by 6 points when CJ was on the court. Yes, Miles was hot. But he did nothing to slow down Barnes.
Contrast that with Jarron. He didn't score, but he harassed Shaq for the 13 mins he was in the game. Collins had a +6 and probably deserved more playing time.
Who would have ever thunk that we beat Phoenix by running them off the court? They couldn't keep up with the speed and effort from our bench players. Shaq was completely ineffective. And Nash was kept under wraps by Price and Knight.

CJ is an athlete and capable of playing good defense but he should not sit by Boozer on the bench because his defense is rubbing off.
It was nice to see him finally get something going offensively but the Jazz will be made or lost (again) this year on DEFENSE!!

that's funny. he's been playing well, whatever he's been doing,
just do it. he's got the natural ability, now he's putting it
together. it was cool to see him on the floor w ak47, good choice against pho.,
ak47 and cj34 out there, that's a lot of ahtleticism on the court, alot of
floor gets covered like that. and boozer, he's a great team leader, he
played great.

My friends, one game does not make a season. I would love to see CJ succeed as
much as the next guy but for him to have 3 great games in 3 years, does not
permit you or anyone else to say 'I told you so.' If he bricks 75% of
his shots for the next 15 games before another breakout, then we're in
trouble. It's about CONSISTANCY! He has shown none of that so let's
just take CJ one mile at a time.

You theory hold no water. CJ plays with the starters who right now are missing
two players (Dwill and Memo) so they should be outscored by the other teams
starters. Barnes played more minutes and is known for his scoring. Cj did not
guard Barnes the entire night. Shaq is washed up. It wasn't because of
Collins defense. When Shaq was in his prime, Collins would foul out in ten
minutes. So Hollywood try a new theory!!

As one who has Nash on his fantasy team, I can tell you he is not have a good
year so far. I hope he'll get better when he gets more comfortable with
the new offense.
He may never put up the same numbers that he has in the past as this is not the same run and gun team that is was under D'Antoni.
Still a good win and glad to see CJ have a nice game but he does have to get better on D. You guys really think you know more than Coach Sloan?

Sorry I have been on the CJ bandwagon all season.
This is the place that separates Sloan from great
coaches, he has no vision, creativity or ability to

Mr. Cotty 3 good games in 3 years? Or did you mean to say that when Sloan gives
CJ minutes that he produces? Which is it? You can't have a good game is
Sloan keeps you off the floor. It's not that CJ can't play--It's
Sloan wouldn't play him the past 3 years. 75% seems a little harsh. Or
was that the number referring to your pay cut at work?

You said C.J. bricks 75% of his shots. Get your fa cts straight. For the season,
Miles is shooting 47.4%, compared to Korver at 42.4%, and Brewer at 41.1%
Somethings else you probably refuse to see is that Miles runs the floor as good
as anyone on the team and usually leads out on the fast break. How long are you
going to continue to bash C.J., it makes you look like a fool

Okay, Sokal, whatever you say. Don't forget that the team did match
CJ's offer so they must have some "vision". It's likely
that Miles will be a major cog for the Jazz as he continues to develop.
That's what Sloan is doing, developing his talent.

Please read what someone says before you hammer them for something. He
didn't say CJ WAS bricking 75% of his shots. He said IF CJ does that in
the next 15 games. He was saying CJ needs to be more consistent with his play.
It seems to be all over as to how many points he contributes. I, for one, would
be glad to see CJ start to produce more. Doesn't have to be 21, but if we
can get 35 combined between Brewer, AK and CJ every night when our team is
helathy, that'll be huge.

Miles you sound so unintelligent when you post. Its almost child like, but
it's quite entertaining. C.J. started out the season shooting 30%. He has
been steadily improving but it's nothing to get excited about yet. He
needs to learn how to play defence. He also needs to be more consistant on the
offensive end. IF and WHEN he starts doing that, Sloan will give him the
minutes. On another note Fesenko is NOT a diamond in the rough. He has just
been hanging around the last two years and hasn't improved at all.
I'm pro Kosta now. He has way more potential then Fes does now, along with
twice the work ethic.

BoOoO, all talk, no stats, no nothing. Show me the preseason stats comparisons
between Fes and Koufos. Break it down per minute and you'll realize you
are smoking crack. Fes hasn't been here two years, just over one. In fact
he wasn't officially done being a rookie until last month in the first
regular season game. Koufos, Koufos, Koufos our savior, whatever...Let's
just make you coach.

CJ rocks!!! He is the next MJ. Okay he's not that good. But hello
people, withouot CJ's high scoring the Jazz would have probably lost the
game. You DO need points to win. His defense does need to improve. And so
does Boozer's and just about every other Jazz player. But points win ball
games. If you don't score you wont win. CJ is young. He will imporove.
He is not Phenominal.......just yet.

Haha nice reply "BoOoO", or should I say miles. Just stop posting
your embarrassing yourself. go4jazz, that's your response? Why would I
post all the numbers on here? Do you not know them? If your dumb enough not to
realise that he has done nothing (including improve) for the last two years,
then there is no point debating that with you. Fesenko is a bust. I don't
need to be a "coach" to see that. And I'm obviously not the only
one that does. Hence Koufos getting minutes and Fes not getting minutes.
