Great game last night and great coaching from Sloan.

This is why Jarron Collins is such a cheap and effective asset to the Jazz. How many teams have a 3rd string center that can come in after not playing and give Shaq problems like that? And JC never complains just does his job.

Everyone that keeps asking for Sloan to play the rookies big minutes might want to pay attention to the just completed road trip and how well the Jazz played with them all getting big minutes.

I love K2's potential and think he might be a nice pick up for the Jazz.

As much as I love Dwill I'm a little disapointed at Dwills progress. Up 2% from last week and not going to play until he is 100%. At this rate he will be out another 9 weeks and will have missed 3 months with a sprained ankle. Come on Dwill man up and play. Don't be so worred about your stats and making the all star game. We need W's.

PS. Love Dwill and hope he heals/returns quickly.

Are you a complete idiot? This is a team game. Shut your hole until you realize that.

Lets get Fesenko some playing time so he's ready for the playoffs. We're going to need him.

Get well soon Larry, this states sports fans need you to hang around for another 20 or 30 years.

My comments are mainly for Mehmet Okur. My family and I want him to know that we will keep he and his family especially his father in our thoughts and prayers. May your father have a speedy recovery and may your heart be eased concerning your father and other family members. Life may go on it's true, but your family is far more important than a basketball game. I am glad that the Jazz coaches and staff recognize that and support the players when it comes to situations like that. DWill don't come back until you are ready physically and mentally. The two go hand in hand. You have years to be an all-star, but if you ruin your ankle trying to come back too soon you might not. Patience is the mantra.

A team game. Then stop your complaining about CJ when he doesn't do exactly what you want out of him. You fair-weathered fan.
re: Jerry | 9:43 a.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Get real. He had a hard time staying on the floor in the D-League last year. I say send him to Orem so that Koufos can be developed. He has showed more on the road trip than Fes did in a whole season with the Flash.
Orem | 2:29 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
How can you send anyone down with so many injuries? The Jazz may have to pick up a few of those Babtist's who kicked the Utes around last week.

Completely agree with you about Fesenko. When we first got him, I was so excited. Thinking that we finally got a big man that can back up Memo AND help us cover all the big centers in the west. But he hasn't improved at all. He had plenty of minutes in the preseason to show us something. All he showed us was one decent game, all the rest he was just too passive. I think we should keep Koufos and send Fes back to the D-league.
Like Memo reads this? please! | 3:13 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008

i think any self-respecting resident of northern utah might read the DN over the trib because, frankly, it's a much better newspaper.

that said, an article on somebody's father dying probably isn't the best forum for religious badgering, simply out of concern for good taste.

I'm not a mormon | 10:02 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
I'm not a mormon, but the dnews has more jazz stuff. I don't see anything wrong with someone saying they will take time out of their life to pray for another, the person is probably a decent person, which is more than i would want to say about someone who would write a post that brings in topics not related to sports, and the jazz; that's the problem with narcisstic phonies, they think they're so much better than everyone else, they feel it's their moral obligation to stomp on people who are harming no one. As for the jazz, go jazz. I thought fes might get some minutes against shaq, I think fes has a future, as long as he's willing to put in the work, in fact, if he does that; i think he'll be a pretty good player-I've always said I like his banging style. But, he's still new to nba style ball, so dleague might be good for him, it might help him stay in shape; if he drifts, and loses focus on his priorities, being away from the main team, it will be his lack of discipline, which seems to be the biggest question mark.
Fes for Pres | 10:12 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
If I were Fes, I'd be trying to do 10% more than anyone else, more lifting, more practicing; the first one to practice, the last one to leave. that's how you make an impression. With millions of dollars, fame, and the adoration of jazz fans-it's probably worth the comittment.
