Dingell is working for his constituents, but the dems want him to put the party's interests first. Typical. I think they have their priorities backward.
Waxman is an ultra liberal who needs to be blocked. Good move Matheson.
Both of these guys could move on the other pursuits. Dingell, especially, is 80 years old. He is plenty smart, and he likes to hunt. Waxman is 69, from California.
That said, Dingell is much more of a centrist than Mr. Waxman. Rep. Matheson has chosen the best of the two to defend. Matheson would make a good Energy and Commerce Committee Chair, except he will never find favor in Nancy Pelosi's eyes as he does not follow her directions.
Good for you Jim, Waxman is a vindictive do nothing in congress, he should be chairing the Custodial Committee for the kind of job he's doing. I applaud you and your efforts to keep Congressman Dingell in charge, although I am not a Democrat, I like your stand on most issues.
Keep up the good work
