May does not know what he is in for against Hurricane, he has taken flight that for sure. Flight too his Head. Hurricane will take down the Soaring eagles from Juan Diego on Friday and they will both end with 1 lose on the Year. I can't wait too be their to watch this all take place right in front of my own eyes. The hopes for a undefeated Season is over Friday. You will have to try again next Year after you see what is out their for a Athletic Pool to pull from. jst sing pt ur shldr to da whel.

Wow Big Pepsi nice to see that your post is actually coherent this week. Laying off grandpa's old cough syrup? JD will do just fine this week. As far as that athletic pool goes... They'll be just fine there too. Alta, Bingham, and JD are all within 5 miles of each other. The talent pool goes deep here.

Hurricane's only blemish was a double OT loss to 4A semifinalist Pine View, whose only two losses went to Cottonwood.

Hey Diet Pepsi: I hope you are "their" too! I see YOUR comments all over the DNews and it changes form week to week. Try to stay consistent in YOUR teams. And maybe stop blogging at 5:04 am and try to use that time to try "Hooked on Phonics" or something like that! Just a suggestion BIG DIET!
The Good News here is that Juan Diego can still has hopes for an undefeated season as Hurricane can not! Trash everyone's W's, but the FACT remains the same ..... JD is 13-0 and in the State Championship Game, as is Hurricane. ALL year the powers that be (coaches and sports writers) have picked JD as a BETTER team than Hurricane, as well as picked Logan as a BETTER team than Morgan and Juan Diego, even after Morgan beat Logan. These are based on a lot of different things .... so keep running your mouth! I know YOUR JV will have an opportunity to get on the field in this game (you are right) It will just be on the last few plays when you are losing and the clock is winding down to get some plays in for next year!

It doesnt matter what the coaches and sports writers think. Those are opinions. All that matters is which team plays the best game.

Combined record of Juan Diego's schedule: 57-90

Combined record of Hurricane's schedule: 77-70

Hurricane, take it to the JD boys Friday! They are overconfident and primed for a fall. They haven't really played anyone this year, only 2 teams that ended the season with winning records, and both those games were in the playoffs(PC and Logan). Send them home with the 1st losers trophy!

It's not the JD Fans, parents or players that are making the comments about "being a JV team" compared to Hurricane, etc. I do not read on here comments like that about the Hurricane team from JD, just positive fans saying JD is going to win. School Spirit! I guess since Hurricane played BETTER teams with more winning records then they should win pretty easily. Maybe JD should just stay home! As far as the Morgan fans jumping on the Hurricane wagon, get a clue! You where suppose to KILL Hurricane in your comments posted on here before the game, now I guess they are good and need to beat JD, ONLY because they KILLED you! So if Hurricane wins then Morgan is better than JD? RIGHT! No one is over-confident, I guarantee you that! Friday will come soon enough and Hurricane will see first hand the speed and power of a strong "TEAM" Defense! Go Luck Hurricane!

Give me a break....Hurricane is the most overated team to make it to the finals this year. JD has played consistently all year including the playoffs. Hurricane while having a good regular season against teams like Desert Hills has not had a good playoff run. The teams that Hurricane has beat this year are southern teams that look good only in the south part of the state. If it were'nt for the turnovers by Judge and Morgan they would not be there. After watching both of those games none of the turnovers were caused by a "good defense" rather a bad decision by the QB's.

To All JD Fans: Please take a minute to go to the Hurricane article and read some of their comments from their fans and parents. Over 50% of them are negative and non-supportive. When an article comes out in the newspaper about a State Title run, there are immediate negative comments posted. You have NEVER seen a comment like those from our fans! Apparently they tried to petition the coaching staff OUT! It just goes to show you how much MORE class and a quality program that we have and to be thankful for! As a JD parent, I can tell you that we have GREAT fans and parents on the sidelines and we will WIN with class on Friday and something to be proud of!

Coaches: Thanks for all that you have done with our kids this year! Keep up the good work and bring home a State Title for our boys, program and school!

Wow. It seems to me that everyone "bashing" on here is pathetic! Oh my! The truth still remains that Hurricane and Juan Diego will play for the 3A state title. Come on people grow up! Yes, my team (Delta) lost but I think Juan Diego has made it to the finals because they really are a good team. Hurricane no doubt, has played some pretty hard teams and both schools have an EQUAL shot for that trophy. I honestly don't have a pick of who I would want to win this year, but I am sick of the JD and HURRICANE fans going off about each other. Good Luck to ALL you guys.

Alright everyone i am a security guard at the U of U and i was privlaged to watch both games down on the field. And im going to be honest and say that if anyone gets blown out i will be surprised. Hurricane is a very well balanced team with great running backs and amazing LB core. Juan Diegos Defense is killer and their offense is just as dangerous. This will i believe be a close game. I hate to see ignorant fans stating "oh were better because of a tougher schedual or we have more talent." sereiously GROW UP. All that that is bull and everything is out the window for this game. this is the state championship game and that means both teams are going to play with an intensity rarely seen. Now however i am Judge graduate and a cathlic so i am going to support my sister school and hope to come out on top. Go Dogs! i mean Eagles!

Who is the loser in the yellow jacket and red Ute hat that was such a jerk to everyone at the Southeast gate? He had a wireless head set on and was acting pretty tough. I am sure he uses the same headset when he is working the drive up during his other job.

He tried to tell me it was an NCAA and HS rule that you could not leave. I said that rule is fine with me, but it is not an NCAA or HS rule. He tried to argue, so I just left and paid again. No biggie. I have gone to 7 or 8 HS games as well as a BYU game and 2 PAC 10 games and was allowed to come and go. It may be a rule at the U, but not an NCAA or HS rule

I did not want to argue w/ the old dude....what is the saying?....

Never argue with a fool, people might not know the difference.

I wish hurricane the best of game and that both teams play there hardest and hopefully jd comes out on top and all i can do is play as hard as i can we are a very equal teams in talent and skill so i just want to wish everyone luck and see you on friday
