Dallas Aggie

Now that the decision has been made, please recruit a coach that is gregarious and can lead people to new heights. We need some fire...anyone remember Weatherbie climbing the flag pole to get the fans into it? We need that style and energy again. Someone who cares about winning and is confident in being able to do it. If UL Monroe can beat Alabama at home under Nick Saban's $4 million a year contract, any team can be beat! I mean come on, it is not like Boise St, UoU or BYU is anywhere near an Alabama in terms of $, Fan Attendance at home, or athletes. So if little UL Monroe can, we should be able to win some big games as well.

Good luck and I hope for some good things!

How about

Norm Chow
Steve Sarkisian
Ty Detmer

Please, no...

No BYU hand-me-downs, thank you very much.

Dreaming

If you think that anybody at the D-1 level wants that job you are dreaming. Anae and Anderson both have far better jobs than the head coach at USU. Go down and see if Dixie or Snow would be willing to become a 4 year sacrificial lamb.

Nice article

Well written article, Rockmonster. Thanks for taking the time to write an informative piece about USU's situation. You seem to understand the current status and mindset of Aggie fans and those within the program very well. Thanks.

And yes, I agree that USU can have a winning program. They just need the right coach and need to instill a winning attitidue in Logan like Stew Morrill has done with the basketball program.

Timpview

has a great football coach. I bet they could beat USU. He's done a great job with his football program.

re:please, no.....

you can't get to pickey Aggie fans. Who would want that job. unless they get tons of money for four years or less. it will take a long time to get this program back to winning.

88 USU Aggie

Dead-on. You gotta believe you can win. Step one. I never felt that with Guy.

RE:Timpview

Come on, just be happy you beat Mtn. Crest. Now get to class.

Re: please no

BYU hand me downs! You are joking ,right! Your sorry little University deserves everything its getting!

Re: Hand me downs

I think it is the no BYU/Utah hand me downs attitude that kept us from hiring Ron McBride. Well we see what he has done for Weber. That attitude is foolish.

I seriously doubt that a BYU or Utah coach would want to come here at this point.

To Timpview: YOUR COACH ISN'T THAT GOOD OF A COACH. It just so happens that your players are bigger than the rest of the teams they play, but that is fine for you to think that. Now shut up and go lose to Cottonwood.
