What an event. This should once and for all seat us at the head of the throne. A am sure the catholics are in dismay but truth is truth. I am proud so many have found truth from a nation that was led into corruption. I am very proud on this day. It is a great day for the church and growth.

It was such a moment, a moment that, as they already said, has to last forever, in a way i cant wait the time to come when by telling to my childs, to my grandchilds, the magics of my life... i'll remember that very special night when me, my mom, a lot of my friends, and more than 87000 of my brothers sang together !Grande eres t (How great Thou art!) as one voice, as one being, as one Church... i'm very thankful for the time that God gave me to live, the age that I born, for the Church that I joined, and for that Beautiful Temple that i have to go...

As an American living in Mexico for the past 17 years and sharing love and dedication to the Mexican Saints, I can say that the Mexican people deserve to have the Prophet of the Lord in their presence to share his love. What a priviledge for my two beautiful daughters to see him and to feel his love. My daughters were impressed to write in their journals as they arrived home from the event at 1:30 am and to share their feelings. They will forever remember the emotions and the love of a Prophet such as President Monson. Thank you Brother Monson from all our heart.

The culmination of this historic event was a VERY spiritual one in the Mexican Temple. President Monson is a servant of God with MUCH love to share and to illuminate our lives. The Mexican Saints respond to these moments with much dedication and I would like to tell them all that it is a marvelous priviledge to live among them and to serve shoulder to shoulder. They have been a great example to me and my family and to have my son serving them in his mission is the GREATEST of all blessings.

Great news. I too have been impressed by the devotion of many Latin American latter-day saints that I have been privileged to know. They are fast becoming a major source of strengtt to the worldwide church.

I saw the rebroadcast of the Rededication and I was emotionally moved by the Spirit that was felt. I loved it when Pres Monson recognized and pointed out the importance of members of the church taking the time to organize and plan activities such as the Saturday events. Even though I did't see the event, I could just imagine the magnitude how elaborate the activity might have been. It brough back wonderful memories about the ward I grew up in Guadualajara--The Victoria ward which is now a stake. I was very glad that Pres Monson even urged the members to continue to hold activities as such. That's exactly what we need to take place in the wards in the US (generally speaking). It's activities like this one that helps members not only to use their talents in builging up the kindgdom of God on the earth, it's also a way to increase participation of the youth, to help them find a marriage partner within the church, to keep them away from outside influence. I'm glad Pres Monson understands the devotion the members showed was not a show off but true dedication to the Gospel. We need that here in AL

I had the opportunity to see the broadcast of the rededication for the Mexico City temple. I felt the spirit very strong and the love that the people in Mexico had for president Monson and for their temple. I also felt the inspiration for missionary work, and I know that one day every nation will have a temple. This is a very awesome time to be living on the earth!

I remember in 1979 when President Kimball announced to us that a Temple was going to be erected in Mexico City. It was a surprise since we never thought it would be possible, because of the law. However it happened and in December 1983 the temple was dedicated, I was there and listen the dedicatory prayer from president Hinckley. What a blessing, and now we have it rededicated by president Monson for the benefit of so many faithful members who are looking for eternal families. Nothing is impossible for our Lord.

To the Nevada inquiry of possibly downloading the Saturday Cultural event. I would email BYU broadcasting, there is a spanish BYU broadcasting for Latin America.Perhaps in the near future they may broadcast it there. I understand you can streamline into it from the internet. I can imagine the countless hours that went into preparation for organizing and putting this size of an event. I loved how they depicted their history along with the Book of Mormon timeline and used it as a missionary tool for those that were watching or were present. It was marvelous.

I am a member in a little branch in Oaxaca,Mex. Because I have a son studying at Mexico City, he got us tickes to join the cultural event at Aztec Stadium. As a member of a stake in Mexico City he also was part of one of the folk dances. It was a marvelous experience joining to the tens of thousands of Church members and we were thankful of listening and feeling the presence of our loved profet. We strongly felt the spirit that his presence give us and also show us the strengh of the Church in Mexico. We also have a daughter at the Church High School "Benemerito de las Americas" and another son serving as a full time missionary in the West Mexico City Mission. When the program was finishing we were very sad because we could not see them but in the last presentation the Benemerito students sang and we could see our daughter. At the end when the full time missioneries make a procession we could see our son. We were in the right place to see them and they to be seen. That show us(my wife and me)God's power to join us forever.Amen.

Does anyone know if there will be a professional DVD offered of the cultural event? Our son is serving a mission in the Mexcio City North mission, so he was part of the number where over 1,200 missionaries came in singing "Called to Serve" in spanish.

I was there, attending the cultural event, my first time at the Aztec Stadium in the 51 years living in Mexico and I witness the history; me and my wife, we both were so impressed because of the splendid event. We hear and follow the prophets the day after too. What a magnificent experience!!
