BOy, now that we got Collins back we should really start to role. Get him back in there until he is got 6 minutes a game.

I have no problem with Koufus spending a few games when their schedule in Provo justifies it (home games). But please lets not use Collins as the PF or center reserve. His contract is up this year and he should NOW use his Stanford education for what it is-too make a living elsewhere. Koufus has a future in basketball, Collins does not. Build for the future. Fess- the jury is still out, but no doubt needs to play at Provo and Almond also, with stints with the Jazz.

I really hope AK comes back Monday, and Deron Wednesday. We need them so badly right now, but we need them at a hundred percent! These last three losses have been sad, and two of them were against bottom-feeders, and wouldn't have happened if D-Will or AK was there. I'm hoping Okur can get back soon too, but it's easy to understand his absence.
The upside is Koufos has been great. He can really develop (and maybe quickly) into a real option for us. I'd much prefer him as he is now to the useless Collins. Time to cut Collins lose. I say trade him and Almond for cash to someone like Oklahoma City. Free up some roster space for our super talented bench, and a bit of cash to boot.
Come on Jazz, get healthy!
D-will | 1:45 p.m. Nov. 16, 2008
..better not come back unless he is healthy. The second game he was back even he admitted he probably should not have been in the game and I dare say his inability to run the offense was a large part why we lost. If AK is back, let Brevin and Ronnie run the point. We have a shot with enough passers then at least.

I feel bad for Okur with his father but good grief--is he ever coming back? The fact there is no news of his return does not bode well for the team.

What we have learned though is that Boozer can not carry a team unless he has an all-star point guard get him the ball in all the right places.

D-will ought to pay attention to Brevin. He is getting his team mates better opportunities to score than even Deron when he penetrates, draws the defense, and then dishes to team mates for a close high % shot. When Deron drives/penetrates he almost always takes it to the basket which often ends with him in the front row and no foul call and no basket. Brevin is not Deron for strength but Deron oughta watch him.

When AK went down, the team went down. The MVP of our team is AK (well CJ too). Everyone else watches the other team score so they can get the ball back on offense. When this team is healthy we are good but until 3 more guys commit to play "D", we will never win it all.

Don't ever say CJ is one of the team's MVPs ever again. I have to say, it is CJ I've been most disappointed in this year. I thought if he got a chance to play more he'd show some consistency, but that is just not the case. Sad, because he has the skills and size to be successful.

Koufos is already an average player in the NBA. He will only get better. If the Jazz can win without him, spending time in D league could get him a lot of practice time. However, I hope he becomes the back up center/PF now instead of going to Dleague. If he can get a better inside game and learn the offense better he can contribute a lot now.

He will be really valueable at the end of the season and in the play offs.

The jury is still out on CJ. I think he will develop by Christmas. I really wish Fez would step up. We need the rebounding and could use him against the really big centers.

The Almond non resigning perplexes me. Almond may be the best 3 point shooter we have. To bad he can't learn to play within the offense and play defense better.

Collins does a lot of things that do not show directly in the stats but I think Koufos is better and will get a lot better fast if he keeps playing in the NBA.

Koufos also has a lot of fans. He fills seats and is developing a following.

What ever...CJ is far from the most disappointing players on this team.
