That is the best they could come up with? Come folks.
That is the best they could come up with? Come on folks.
That's the best they could come up with? Come on folks.
Utah Flakes? Would that be all the people that sent money into support Prop 8 in California? It doesn't matter what the ad campaign promotes Utah will be blacklist, boycotted, you name it because of the support that Utah Mormons put towards Prop 8.
These commercials are STUPID. If people don't want to ski "the best snow on earth" by seeing commercials of beautiful Utah mountains and beautiful snow, WHY IN THE WORLD would they want to ski here after watching these INANE commercials????????
These commercials are just plain dumb in my opinion. What a waste of $1.5 million dollars.
I thought our gay friends in California were blocking all tourists from coming to Utah - "the hate state"?
The picture looks like a bloody snow flake.
Are we promoting blood sports? Or are we telling them skiing is a dangerous sport? Exactly who are we trying to attract to our lovely state?
That's the best YOU could come up with? You had to say it three times?
I like the ad.
I took a look at the ads. I really wanted to like the, but sorry, they're pretty lame.
I agree that they seem really dumb but it also seems that young adults would get a kick out of them. As to the comment about prop 8 - seeing how Salt Lake has such a large gay community what are you going to do about them? And do you really think that this band is going to go any futher then in just words??? I don't think so - and if I am wrong and it does - well guess what - I really don't think that you are breaking anybody's heart! You are just giving more space to the others that do go there! I really do not think that anyone who decided's not to go because of this band is really going to hurt Utah all that much in fact to most Utans I think this would be something to celebrate! Thank you! couldn't happen to nicer people!!!!!
I think they are funny.
I guess we should stop using Google and their services, as well as Apple and all other businesses who donated money to the no-on-8 campaign. No more ipods for the majority of this country who support traditional marriage.
How ridiculous does this sound? And to think that I was against prop 8.
I had to look several times to figure picture out. If they HAD to use snowflakes a face through center of a beautiful lacy one may have been easier to distinquish. I think young adults would have gotten a bigger kick out of snowboarders
