Just look at the mess. Big business was turned loose (unregulated), the anti-trust laws were ignored and revoked, Congress and the Administration looked the other way and greed took over.

Thank you Big Business, the Administration and Congress, and especially Wall Street. Just what the middle class needed.

Carl, some of your frustration is misplaced. You obviously want to blame capitalism and deregulation for the economic mess we're in now, but it's not that simple. None of this would have been possible without the bought and paid for congresscritters in Washington, D.C. They've selectively picked winners and losers in the economy, based on a number of criteria, but mostly campaign contributions. The combination of government and business is essentially economic fascism which is beginning to overtake the economy. That's what's causing this trainwreck.
