Proud Lone Peak Mother

CONGRATS girls, you are amazing! You have had a wonderful season. And I have had a great time taking beautiful pictures and cheering you on!

Deanna, Jason, Mike, Ashley, Liz, and everyone else...thank you for everything that you have done, for the girls. We all truly love you.

GO LONE PEAK!!!

LP Fan

We are the best!!! Good thing the officials didn't rob us like football. Go Knights! AMEN.

Brighton Fan

Congrats LP.... You looked great out there and so deserved the State Championship. Way to go!

Interesting...I honestly thought Pleasant Grove had it in the bag, but wait to go to that libero who dug all those balls. She is the reason why they won for sure!

Great game young ladies. You all worked hard and played fabulous as a team. You girls won this championship as you are the ones who played the game on the floor. You never gave up when the odds seem to go against you. PG is a very talented team and those girls deserve a lot of credit.

At times, I wish we can crown two champions as both teams were deserving of the State title.

Anna, Heather, Aubrey, Taylor, and Ashton provided such amazing leadership as seniors. You all are well deserving of this moment. Each of you have amazing talent that goes far beyond playing volleyball. Thank you for another amazing season.

It's amazing what a great coach and a lot of heart can do. If you don't think coaching is important - think again. Good job Lone Peak you really earned this one.

I agree with anonymous!!! We love Meyer :)

It was an amazing match last night. Kudos to Pleasant Grove for a valiant effort. The better team prevailed. PG has some amazing players, but Lone Peak is much more well-rounded and better coached. LP was able to make major adjustments mid-match and shut down PG. It was awesome to see. And the crowd was very intense. Both sides cheered hard. This is a great rivalry, and will be for years to come.

POWER TO THE PEAK!!!

To The Sisterhood

So proud of you all. It was one from the heart! Way to be warriors and battle. Lone Peak Volleyball is something special and I am proud to be a part of it. You all worked hard and it was a team effort. Everyone had their moment to shine. Put it all together and it was like a super nova. Congrats I love you!!

Ashley (Who been there through it all as a player and a coach=right hand women!) Jason ( Mr. Intensity) Mike (The man with perspective- ) and Liz (The women who makes us laugh) you are all awesome Thanks for all your time and effort. We couldn't of done it without you. Team effort of the Coaching staff part as well. WELL DONE!!!

uncle bk........

Congratulations to the girls at Lone Peak!!! It would of been great to be there to support the time. [I was there, in spirit]. Great team energy, and thank you for never gaving up...As stated earlier, "Power to the Peak"!!!

The officials robbed you in football? Some people...

Amazing Region 4

Nice job by everyone in Region 4. Lone Peak and Pleasant Grove proved that this is the best region in the state. Lehi did great as well, losing only to Taylorsville, and taking 6th while plowing through the consolation bracket! American Fork truly deserved to be at State, too. Why some regions got 4 and 5 teams into state, and Region 4 only got 3 I'll never know.

Great Job Lady Knights!

You girls don't know how lucky you are to be coached my Meyer. I would do anything to be coached by her. Wish I was young enough to be on her club team.

Count your lucky stars. Not everyone has what you do.

Coach Meyer Fan

What a wonderful match last night (INCREDIBLE COMPETITION!). Both sides played outstanding volleyball.

First, kudos to PG and their fine team and their fine young coach. They have a lot of great young talent.

Second, kudos to young ladies of Lone Peak who brought home another gold trophy. Coach Meyer, her staff and these young ladies plowed through the adversity to bring a title back to Highland/Alpine/Cedar Hills. Sixth straight trip to finals with four titles. Coach Meyer and LP has it going on!

LP Fan 2

We got our rear beat in football by both PG and Skyline. Leave it AMEN.

Keep this for the girls posts and how proud we are!

Great Match Ladies! Way to make us proud! Go LP! AMEN.

Friend from the South

Great job Lone Peak!!! Way to hang in there and stay tough.

Deanna, you did it again. How sweet it is girl friend, how sweet it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friend from the South

Stay humble my friend and remember it is the girls and who they become as women in the world that matter most. We have the opportunity as coaches and teaches to influence the next generation and we must remember that the success we have as high school coaches does not compare to the success our young women can have in the world as future teachers, parents, and leaders. High School sports is merely one vehicle that can be used to help our young people to deal with the greater challenges of life.

Winning 3 titles or 4 in six years should never define who we are as leaders and teachers of youth. Building character and future leaders will always be my most treasured trophy and one that is not often received until late in life.

When does BB start? Go LP, threepeat!!!!

hmmm...this is probably the first time where I have actually heard no pg fans complaining....how strange. Good job LP :)

LP Student!

That's what I'm talkin' about! Way to shock PG and take state baby!

Looks like a repeat for volleyball and I think we'll have a 3-peat for basketball...wait...umm yeah i'm sure. :D

GO KNIGHTS! To The Peak!!!
