Congratulations to Manti from the London England Temple! We're looking forward to seeing the score next week.
Nick Tibbs is the man. 5 catches and 1-2 interceptions. Amazing! Aste isn't too bad either. Also there was some great blocking and defense. I hope the Temps are ready for next weekend.
Great game, Seems that the Broncos were a little flat to start and Manti came out after them on play one. QB for Manti is a real deal player. Had a great game on both sides of the ball. Should be a great final.
Congrats Manti. You came out and played well. Bronco players keep your head up you still are from one of the greatest football programs in the state. You guys are great athletes and you have nothing to be ashamed of.
What do you san juan trash talkers have to say now? Maybe you can win next year in a weak 2A. Like Nelson says HAha.
you only have one lose for the entire season the state champion this year will have at least one lose. great year.
Obviously playing the teams in the North makes the teams up there better.....maybe the 2a teams in the south should schedule some of the north powers in nonconference games.
great game broncos. we just had a hard time playing "OUR GAME" saturday. manti came at us with the best they had and came out on top.
broncos you had a great season, i enjoyed watching you young men play every minute. BRONCOS 4 LIFE, luv you forever.
good luck manti in the finals...
I can't remember the name of number 28 for Manti but someone needs to give him some credit. He is a great cover corner. He may have been the difference in the game.
You can talk all you want about 4-A and 5-A football but the best game of the playoffs will be No. Summit and Manti.
I love high school football. No egos, just great young men. And coaches that do it for the love of the game and the kids.
hey manti you showed alot of class, especially the samoans brothers who gave my son the hand shakes and hugs on our way out. good luck and fa! my son will be back on the mat at state! you got to see the invisible to do the impossible. Thanks coach lee as my son didn't want to come out for football at the beginning and you are a great man in our families book, there'll be another great year next year to get it done. Anyway you cut it the journey was good with so many winners as very few made it this far. It's about opportunities and my son thanks you for the life time experience! Now get ready Broncos for the next sport because a true champion always bounces back after a defeat as if it never happened!
Good Job Broncos!! We didn't show our best to Manti but we did have a few good couple plays! Keep your heads up! You will remain #1 in my heart!!
The san juan mauler thaks for that comment i know those two boys and that just simply put is them they are animals on the field but resectable young men off the field. this kinda of stuff is never talked about and most people just don't see that part of the game its always about how good a team is or how bad a team played or how bad the refs were never about the sportsmanship displayed by these young men
Broncs!! great game even tho we didnt play our best...not to have any excuses about our loss but manti i think got lucky on some plays...the fumbles they had and that we recovered were reversed and manti kept possession. the onside kick that we recovered got over turned and the kickoff return that jace ran back for 6 that was called back but clearly shouldnt have been. Manti got those breaks to go their way. i believe the game would have been closer if the refs would of made the right calls..but congrats to manti! they came out with intensity from the git go! and never stopped! good luck next week against north summit
Nick Tibbs should be All-State! Nick Brown is OK too!
............from Sturdays performance, Tibbs has made a decission.....but the Jury is still out for North Summitt.
Congrats to Manti! I am proud that you have carried on the tradition that we started. I'll always have a place in my heart for the Templars.
san juan did get screwed by the refs but it shouldnt have to come down to a couple of bad calls. san juan just didnt show up for that game.
NEXT!
Let's name the "bad calls" that took place.
I didn't see any and would bet you can't either.
Manti Watcher
Why is it always the ref's fault? Manti came to play and San Juan got beat. Get over it.
I have photographs of calls that should have gone against San Juan, but didn't. Players miss blocks or tackles, coaches sometimes call for the wrong defense and sometimes ref's miss calls.
