I agree wholeheartedly Logan should never have moved down in the first place,
time for the crybabies to go back to where they belong. Anyways i am a Judge

Come on..Look at the total quote rather than speaking to your interpretation.
The kid is fired up after a big win. A win, by the way, all you Logan fans
thought was impossible. You Logan fans ran your mouths all week long about
Manning, the passing game and the fact you were defending champions somehow gave
you an edge in this game. You should have been humbled by the lack of your
defense to stop the run. The Morales kid busts you for 202 on 29 carries? Wow!
Memo to Logan: You lost to the superior team. Juan Diego would beat you 9 out of
10 times. Congrats Juan Diego and good luck against Park City!

Great game as expected from a couple of good football programs. Both teams
showed alot of heart and class on the field. Probably not the best choice of
words but absolutly nothing wrong with believing in your team...Alot better then
some of the stupid comments or predictions by a few Logan fans.

Morgan is the Team to Beat if any Team wants to win the State title. Region 11
always Wins State and it is Usually the First Place Team out of that Region. It
is not going to be easy for anyone to Beat Morgan when they are focused and the
Whole Town is behind them. Look out Hurricane they just Blew out one of the
States Best Teams and you can't say they are suppose to be 4A either, they
are rather a small School with some Great Backs. I can't wait to see JD get
Smacked back like they Dish it out and they are not going to like it. If you get
behind to Morgan the Game is Over.

The Title game will be Morgan Vs. JD and it will be a Physical game with Morgan
Winning the Title game by 21 Points. I have watched them all season and their
defense is Tough anf JD'S Morales will only get 40 to 50 yards in the Title
game. It is too bad that Someone has to Loose, but JD enjoy your Easy win
against PC the Rich Boys from the Top of the Mountain because the week following
you are not going to be happy after the final Buzzer.

give credit to juan diego. they are a phenomenal team. Having Played morgan and
park city, i think that this team is definitely the soon to be state champs. we
gave it all we had and it just wasn't enough. good luck the rest of the

Hey Anonymous ..... Leave Morales alone ... He is a great kid .... His statement
is about confidence in his team ... NOT that "other" teams are
"inferior" ... Oh yeah ... THat is what Manning said. My Bad! After
a BIG win you are confident and he is RIGHT ... If JD plays like we did against
Logan WE can take anyone! So leave it alone. By the way it does sound like
sour grapes .... Jump on the PC band wagon and become another loser after PC
drops to JD. Lets see PC won Cedar 11-8 (how many innings did they play?) OK,
PC is a running team that squeaked out a "W" against Cedar .....
Let's see what is JD's strength? Defense! Start beleiving as JD will
go 14-0 this year and take State .... as they are the REAL DEAL! It all starts
around Defense ...... And of course if you watched the game last night you saw
JD's "O" line out weighed by about 40 lbs each and they still
took it to the Logan "D" line! Lets NOT forget .. JD has a STRONG
Offense too! JD take STATE!

As a Logan fan I am totally rooting for Juan Diego to take state. If I
can't say that we didn't take state, I want to be able to say the team
that beat us in the playoffs took state! Congrats Juan Diego and good luck!

Was seeing Manning congratulating and huging JD players after the game. I wish
there was a picture of Manning and Morales giving each other a huge. It was
classy. Congrats to Morales, Markosian, Mays etc and congrats to Manning on a
very impressive season.

Logan was one of the BEST teams we have played in a long time! But the game

Congrats to both teams, this was one of the best games of the year. JD's
line and backs were great and defense kept Manning (QB) from taking over the
game. This one could have gone either way, back and forth all night, a real nail
biter to the end. JD's final drive made the difference,if Logan would have
gotten the ball back it may have been a different story. The chess match between
Brian May and Logan's inside linebackers was a joy to watch. NO ONE stunts
like Logan and May handled it well. The coaches prepared both teams extremely
well, some would call them a GENIOUS. Too bad someone had to loose.

Loganite is here and I posted in the other story! I will say it again I was very
impressed with the running game! and the classy program and players I saw out
there on both sides. However I expected a shut down defense from what I heard
all week long. and manning still managed 267 yards passing! to say you shut him
down is funny! it was a dog fight and the running game ultimately kept logans
offense off the field on the last drive. and to everyone saying that logan fans
run there mouths everyone on these posts does! thats the fun of these posts! I
congratulate JD on beating a very good football program how does it feel to
finally make it out of the second round a feat that logan has done many of times
including all the way to state in 4A and 3A. but in all honesty you guys deserve
it because you beat a great football team last night! And good luck! unlike you
fans rubbing it in my face I can take losing with class!

This is to Morgan Fan ... WOW ... How FULL of yourself are you. You are
probably the Dad of some player on the bench "little johnny". GIVE me
a break ... Region 11 ALWAYS wins! Logan was pretty FULL of themselves and look
how that tuned out? How is it that you think Morgan has a pretty good
"D"? Let's see ... Morgan gave up ONLY 155 pts during the season.
WOW That is awesome. OK, you played your JV, well so did everyone else! Your
comments ONLY help everyone understand that YOU know nothing about football! As
I stated for a week ... The Championship Game will be JD vs. Logan and JD won,
now if Morgan can get by a GREAT Hurricane team first, then get to play in the
Championship, hopefully against JD (the BEST team in 3A) and see what a REAL
defense looks and tackles like! IF, and I say IF, Morgan can beat Hurricane,
and faces JD in State, then JD wins 34-10! Just ask Logan and Delta who have
played us both! JD has the BEST "D" and "O" left in the
playoffs! PERIOD!

ive been at the morgan-logan, JD-logan, and hurricane-PC games, and no one plays
with the heart that morgan does. those boys really want it, and you can tell in
their blocking, running, and tackling. JD and hurricane are both very dangerous
teams, but i believe its all gonna come down to heart. Morgan wins state 24-21

because morgan could have averaged 4 points a game as well, their varsity
defense allowed ZERO touchdowns to anyone but Logan in region, who they held to

mountain". YOU KNOW what is an easy win? Park City's 45-7 TROUNCING
of Morgan that happened... um... this year! Were you not at that game Morgan
Fan? PC's run defense is solid as witnessed by containing Grover from
Cedar (#2 RB in 3A) and shutting down your poor Morgan boys from the farm. PC
wont take anyone lightly and will have their hands full with JD, but if you look
at common opponents... JD beat Wasatch 33-0 and 37-0, PC beat Wasatch 56-6. JD
beat Judge 27-0 at home, PC beat Judge 16-0 on the road. JD beat Emery 41-7, PC
beat Emery 41-6. JD beat Delta. Morgan beat Delta and PC killed Morgan! So
you tell me, who should be the favorite at Rice Eccles? I'd say its a real
draw. Go Miners!

PC has no chance. JD knows how to keep an offense off the field. Logan could
never get the O back out there with over 5 min left in game or you would have
seen an OT. Tough for Manning and Logan O. Dream on PC and Morgan. Say and
think all you want JD is too big up front. A team that beats Logan in playoffs
goes to rice twice. Go JD!!!!

They haven't beat Hurricane yet and already focused on JD, hope the team is

you guys on beating a great team and program! in order to beat Logan you have to
have an excellent defense and your defense was your running game keeping the
logan O off of the field. like i said you guys are running your mouths just as

not afraid to keep my identity known! and I hope you guys get to finally feel
whats its like to win a state championship! because you have a great shot at it.
I have seen PC and Morgan and I believe you are a better team! But the playoffs

JD held the ball for 35 minutes, that kept manning and their offense off of the
field. JD knows how to control the ball, and get first downs when they need

WOW again. Loganite you have surprised me by your comments on this blog and
have said some great things w/o a "but" involved in it like most
people have. Thanks for your comments and knowing how to lose gracefully and
with class. As I stated all along, Manning is the best QB in the State and
ALWAYS gave him props as I will all great players. JD won because we have a
great team. To Anonymous, so what is Manning plays D1 ... Everyone knows he is
GREAT including me! Morgan is in for a BIG SURPRISE ... Keep running YOUR mouth
as you have ALL YEAR! Let's name the excuses so FAR: 1) We tried a
different Spread Offense and couldn't score so we lost to Juab and PC, 2)
We didn't have our BEST players because they were golfing .... Give me a
break ... Sounds like BAD coaching to me to change a game plan after the season
started and not knowing your personel, also MANY kids can play multiple sports
at the same time ... excuse ... excuse ... excuse ... If you had a Spread O why
did "D" give up 20 pts?

There are only about two smart people on this comment board. Everyone else is
predicting scores for the State Championship Game. Morgan still has to get past
Hurricane, and Juan Diego still has to get past Park City. We are still in the
semifinals. The finals aren't until next week. Don't be looking past
either team.

To Logan - Congratulations on a great run. Your football program is one of the tops in the state and I've always found your fans to be among the best. Even though you're moving to 4A, I'm hoping Judge and Logan will find a way to play one another in the preseason. Best of luck as you move up.

I agree with still in the semis.. 99% percent of the people blogging are
probably parents of players that have no impact on the game. No one in Morgan
is overlooking a GREAT Hurricane team who has only lost to PV in OT. I'm
sure all the plyaers on every team are focused for the game at hand and if they
are not they will get upset. Anything can happen now. Let's just play the
game

These JD boys want it so bad. Most people don't realize and don't give
Juan Diego the full credit they deserve. Even Logan fans AND players are telling
our team good luck. Predicting scores does nothing except give one team and ego
and the other the will to win. If any team deserves this state title its Juan
Diego. They are all amazing boys who pour their whole heart into football.
Hearing them talk about how much they want it leads me to believe they not only
have to talent to win but the integrity to win. Go JD. You boys are incredible.

hurricane but they don't. guess what else...logan would have won jd if they

The morgan logan game was the exact same as the jd logan game, morgan controlled
the clock, jd controlled the clock, same score, same run game, same. Both these
teams will be focused on earning rice twice and will focus entirely on this
week. if they end up in the state game, well espn better be there cause it will
be a clash of the titans

Have you ever played the Game of Football? You have some good Points, but most
are off the Wall. You don't let your Kids Play Numerous Sports, they focus
on one and then Strap up when it is over and Play Football. it is too bad Morgan
didn't have all their players until they Started Region play or they would
have the same Record your Soaring Eagles Do. When they Play PC in Rice for the
Title sit on the Morgan Side and you will realize the Class the Players have
from that School as well as the good Sports the Fans are and I am not even from
Morgan. I live in Spanish Fork and Root for the Underdog.

I am a loyal Bulldog fan and wish they had played a better game friday. The
defense was stellar. The offense gave the Tigers too many opportunities. The
semis will go like this: Hurricane 10 Morgan 35 (Hurricane is 1 dementional
#24)and Park City 6 Juan Diego 42 (Park City does not even come close to
JD's talent). Finals: Morgan 13 Juan Diego 35. Early congrats on a
undefeated season JD you are a great team this year! Wish we could have faced
you in the finals. Wait till next year!

Morgan 42, JD 6. It wont even be a Game. JD will get inside of Rice Stadium and
Freeze Up. They should just play the Game at Morgan, their Field is equal to
Rice. And the Stands for the Visitors is Awesome.

Hurricane is not that good. Period. Easy game for their next opponent. Park City
is not that good. Period. Just had a decent bracket to this point. Morgan is
tough and will hand with Juan Diego for a while, but this is JD's year.

i love the way everyone is already counting hurricane and PC out of the finals
and making state final predictions. if the players from either JD or Morgan are
making some of these comments they are setting themselves up for a major upset.
Hurricane is a ligit team and has proved it with their record. and if i remember
right didn't Morgan lose to a 2A school...? Juab. yeah keeping putting a W
down in the win column by next week you will be wishing you wrote in pencil.

Although a state victory for Morgan would be nice it is not probable. The only
team to have a chance against JD was Logan and they will be in the stands
watching. I am neither a JD or Morgan fan but the facts are the facts. Morgan
has an improved team over last years already good team but JD does not make
mistakes. As far as Hurricane (far from legit) & Park City goes, neither
team really played anyone this year. It will show in the semi's. Hurricane
was not the team everyone said they were and this years PC team is almost
awfull. They were better the last 2 years when they should have been playing on
the turf.
