isn't enough. We need to be three up, then I would be comfortable hunkering down in defensive mode.
Tempted to again slag off on Mathis, since he's been by far our most lethargic defender, particularly on the road, but I'll refrain... I think Chivas is the best counterattacking team in the league, but the 1-0 deficit won't allow them to play catenaccio and of course they don't have the pace of Galindo to enable them to spring forward quickly. That's a big advantage for us. When they're more static, as they were after Klejstan missed that early sitter, we can handle them much easier, provided we don't lose track of the danger men: Razov and Klejstan. Ideally, we posses them off the pitch, as we did last week, but that will be harder to do at the HDC. At the least, we have to keep them honest, and I don't think Yura can do that alone up front, so to bring this full circle, we should drop Mathis in favor of Findley. Though I agree Espy is the better all-around and technical player, Findley's pace will keep a slow Chivas back line honest and pull Jesse Marsch deeper into the midfield, making it harder for him to link with Klejstan.
Anybody know what happens if RSL loses 1-0? Not that I want that to happen, but what if it does? PK's?
RSL please don't give up an early goal! We need to play tight D, but still be attack minded. If we give up a goal in the first 20 minutes, we're in big trouble. We struggle on the road, and need to be aggressive and play our game. Somehow we survived at colorado, but if we play like that again, we're done. GO RSL!!!
Yes it will be PK's.
If the end of regulation is 1-0 for chivas, there are two 15 minute periods of extra time. If it is tied after that, then PKs.
Dog Bless RSL!
Dont change the lineup from the one we had here at home against these fools.
Keep Andy on the pitch and Dema on the bench.
COME ON RSL!!!
I can't wait to see another running shoot out. I love how MLS still does those things.
first of all they dont do that running shoot any more they took it out the after the 1st or 2nd year, its PK know.
If we come in an attacking mind set we should pick up a win. Mathis has been playing better but i would like to see yura and espy on to at least for the first half and if espy can not go the hole 90 than sub Mathis in to see what he can do.
GO REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
