yes prices are coming down... but slowly, not at the rate that bulk gas has dropped.
i.e. we getting gouged on most things.
regular Gas is under $2/gallon in the mid-west right now. we are paying 30+ cents more than that!
30 cents more!
How about $2.75 per gallon in our area, and awfully glad to see that!!
I love Obama....he promised to buy all of us a new house with all those rich folkss money!
Its sad because in 4 years when things are still going bad, everyone will turn to HATE Obama....We always grow to hate the current prez, and then we will see. but I can see it now Obama did not fix anything. We all should TRY harder to save and not waste, We all should have Obamas back so the Man can do his job. Its going to take BOTH TERMS, Lets give th man 5 good years before we start back stabing the man. Go Obama, U r the MAN and we love ya!!! JUST get er DONE !!!
I am looking forward to being forced to be patriotic and "donate" all my "excess" money from the Obama administration. Go Obama..take care of us all. It will be so much easier not to have to worry about how I will spend all my "excess" money.
to: I love Obama, but: You're right. We all should have the president's back. We should have had President Bush's back--especially with all the international and global economic problems he has had to deal with. But, instead, he has been nothing but viciously attacked for years. It's disgraceful.
And you're also right about the fact that Obama won't be able to solve our problems--not with the tax-and-spend policies he advocates.
The fact is, the President has ALMOST NOTHING to do with the economy. Ask anyone who has had Econ 101 and they can tell you that. So, don't hold your breath about Obama being able to fix the problems. These things have to be worked out through the global economy. THAT WILL TAKE TIME.
Why are gas prices going down!!! what is big oil trying to do!! Are they not greedy oil men anymore??
Oh please congress, please please investigate these people!! Help us!!!
I don't think the gas stations in St. George got the message that gas prices should go down. I have a daughter in Ft. Worth and it is $2.01/gallon. Still $2.79 or more in St. George. Go figure.
As was mentioned, Now that big oil (Republicans) are at the end of their reign they have had of the past 8 years, the oil prices will continue to drop. What goes up must come down.
What will be interesting is what will happen with the pharmaceutacel company Eli Lilly and its current relationship with the Republican White House. Antidepressants and Thimerosol (mercury) vaccinations as well as the largest producer of insulin. Investigated by state of Florida for producing a drug causing diabetes.
midwest and it's $2.60 a gallon here.
Do you have any idea how much it will cost to use alternative fuels in an automobile? Not to mention outfit the country with fueling stations!
A person in rural Ohio can't get to work driving 30 miles an hour in a prius and expect to arrive there in less than 2-3 hours! It may work in NY city where you can't drive speeds higher than that and public transportation is all around, but not over much of the roads in the nation.
