This trade makes the Nuggets much better and the Pistons better as well so its not good news for the Jazz
AI is a warrior and never fit in with the prima donas in Denver. I'm glad to see him get a chance to play for a tough, real team. We'll see how Denver fairs from the trade. I hope they implode.
Billups can't play with a bunch of thugs. He will be out after the season if over.
Billups can't play with thugs? What Detroit Pistions team have you been watching?
there must have been some unpublicized problem in Denver that forced the trade...the Nuggets are not going to win much with Iverson, and wont be much better without him..so why not last the season with Ivy, let him walk, use the $21 million for a free agent, and possibly a good draft pick?
now they are on the hook for at least two more yrs with Billups, who is a 30 something pg, who disappeared the last two yrs in playoffs and was a disturbance when he played with mediocre teams in Minnesota and Boston..look for the latter to reoccur, especially in an enviro with Anthony, Martin, Nene and Anthony Carter
Wallace is a poster child for diapers compared to Carmelo.
