TRUE BLUE

yewts... You are going to a funeral just like Georgia. It might be better if instead of wearing black you wore TCU blue so it looked like you were not getting beat at home.

Without a doubt

Utah has got to clean up that offense and become consistant. Too much talent on that side of the ball being wasted on bad play selection and offensive sets. Use your talent properly Ludwig.

Striker

You shouldn't be saying "plenty of work to do" before facing the #1 team in the nation.

RR

The funny thing is, everyone is saying TCU will win this game and giving reasons why, but no ute fans are saying why their team will win. I'm pretty sure few ute fans think they will win.

I mean, TCU held offensive powerhouse OU to only 35 at OU. The next closet was 45 and all other games at OU they've scored in the 50's and 60's. Look how TCU shredded a better UNLV team, on the road. TCU destroyed a good BYU team. BYU's offense clicks much more than Utah's. TCU is not out of steam after thrashing BYU, as they slaughtered UNLV on the road. TCU is better than all potential BCS busters.

Congrats TCU on being the new MW champion!

Are U ready?

Will Johnson be able to handle the TCU pressure?

TV

Can someone tell me if this game with TCU is on CBS, or CSTV? There's obviously a big difference.

it's funny and pretty sad that all of these BYU fans pretending TCU fans with all these posts claiming TCU victory already.
Common girls, the game has not been played yet --check back on Thursday night.

The game is on CBS-College Sports. CSTV no longer exists, as it was purchased by CBS.

re: Striker

You evidently disagree with Steve Spurrier, and Lou Holtz, and probably almost every other coach out there. Both Spurrier and Holtz have national championships. I've heard them make speak about future games as the coaches of SC. They will constantly talk about plenty of work to do, no matter who the opponent is. They could be going against a team that they should cream, and they would talk like the game is in question. In other words, they talk their team down. Coach Whit talking about this is a sign of a good coach! The last thing you want to do is talk like your team is perfect. One it gives your opponent a bulletin board item,, and two, it results in your team losing because they don't work on their problems because "they are perfect". No team is perfect, and no team doesn't have work to do.

Big Daddy

Greetings UTE FANS!!!

TCU 18
UTAH 46

Offense comes alive...Johnson runs for 218 yards, throws for 3 TD's...King Louie chips a few in...Defense is strong as ever!!! TCU falters and UTES continue to climb in the BCS....

Win

Just keep winning Utes!!! Your having a great season. One game at a time. Let the trash talkers talk... you guys walk the walk.

re: TV

Neither it is on CBSC. It appears to be a sports channel for college games. As it appears to be owned by CBS, it is possible that they might promote it to CBS if the game is good enough, but I don't see that happening unless they are airing reruns.

re: True Blue

I know we will look better than BYU did. Hopefully that will be good enough to win. This will be our toughest game of the season. I know we can beat them, but we will lose if we beat ourselves (turnovers and penalties).

Nostradamus?

Once again it amazes me how smart all the BYU fans are and how poorly informed the AP, USA Today, Harris, and of course BCS folks are. Amazing. I haven't yet visited the BYU School of Athletic Prediction - I'll look for it next time I go to Provo (hopefully no time soon!).

Utah by 12 on Thursday.

Re: True Blue 1:25AM

Funny how after your own team's "funeral" you're on the Ute board predicting a Utah funeral. You are more preoccupied with the team you hate than your own Cougars... and getting all riled up at 1:25AM.

@TV

There is no CSTV anymore. That station has changed names to CBS C or something like that. That is the station the game is on.

Obviously, network CBS does not have college football on Thursday nights. No network channel has weekday college football. So, I think it should be clear this game is on cable, not network TV.

re:TV

CSTV is now CBS college sports. It is on CBS college sports.

re: RR

TCU has a great run defense, but so does Utah. We also have a great passing attack. I think BYU is better on the passing side, but their defense is far weaker. The fact that BYU allowed CSU, TCU, and UNLV to put over 30 points on the board shows this. I know Utah can win this as long as they keep the penalties in check, and win or draw on the turnover battle. I see our offense scoring more rushing yards because we can pressure them from both the running back and quarterback rush attack. Oklahoma's QB doesn't rush. We don't have a pass attack as good as Oklahoma, but the fact that we can attack from the run or the pass, will help make up for that. We also have one of the best defenses in the nation. Our QB has a higher pass completion record, but he also has a higher interception record. We definitely have better rushing numbers than TCU. I think our offense will find more ways to score than TCUs providing we don't do something like fumble or throw an interception deep in our own territory.

I'm a Ute fan, and I was more worried about the Lobos than TCU or BYU. TCU and BYU will be tough games, but the Utes will not be surprised by those teams. The Lobos always give the Utes fits.

Unlike the team down south, Utes haven't been on "the quest". I hope they make the BCS, but Frankly they have already done more this year than I expected (we need to get rid of Ludwig!!!)

Utes will be ready for the toads.

re: TRUE BLUE

Georgia and BYU were overrated! We are not! This game will be close, but it won't be a Florida/Georgia or TCU/BYU game.
