Layton better be ready for the biggest rush attack they've seen this (and last) year. Skyline had 350+ yards rushing and only "one" completed pass against Lone Peak. The front line and linebackers will need to step it up, as they have all year.

This truly will be a SMASHMOUTH FOOTBALL game!!!

Layton, while I don't think Skyline will lay down and die for you, I also think it won't make a difference. Unless they pull off a MAJOR upset, it's over for this year's Skyline football team in a week.

Layton played a good game. It wasn't the 59-0 blow out the so called TBLF's were talking about. Layton going to the finals last year will be your only claim to fame this year after watching yesterdays game. Coach Applegate said that Hunter gave Layton all they wanted. Nice job Hunter. You TBLF's need to let your team do the talking on the field, instead of you running your mouths off here. Good luck Layton, because your going to need it. Your TBLF's will for sure run their mouths off here again and fuel your opponents. Layton Football in a class program one of the best in the state. Its to bad their fans cant say the same thing. Enjoy it for a week Layton....next Saturday morning you'll be crying in your Wheaties along with Syracuse and Davis. I honestly don't see Layton getting past Skyline. If any of you Region 1 clowns still question whether or not Bingham and Alta can "ball", ask your Northridge and Viewmont buddies.....talk about butt kickings of epic proportions.

1st of all, there's only 1 TBLF.....and I don't remember anybody saying Layton would win 59-0, nobody, unless a post slipped by me. I personally predicted Layton by 20. They won by 17. So what if coach said Hunter gave them all they wanted. Your point? Nice job Hunter? What did they do?

Layton is one of the poorest trash-talking schools there are....seriously, I laughingly want to see more, because it's hilarious. There's so many other schools and fans that trash talk better than Layton. Know why? Because Layton hasn't had a winning tradition much. Your consistently winning schools are great trash talkers. Will let you decide who those teams are.

This is a season that Layton can savor. Not many people expected this club to go 9-2, as there were very few returning seniors. I'm proud of this team and what they've accomplished. They've made it to the quarterfinals, meaning Layton is 1 of the 8 best teams in 5A....of 26 teams total.

Will be very interesting to see if the sophs & juniors this year can make the transition next year again.

Did you even play high school football? I know you are not even a LHS alum. I thought you went to Roy? Your comments are off the wall, and a lot of LHS fans to not appreciate them. What I've seen in the end was true respect by the players on both sides of the team. Layton young men hugging the hunter young men that is true respect. I don't care what fans say, watching these young men play football and making spectacular plays is why I love this game. I not taking anything away from them Layton good luck.
