Nice win Highland - congrats. Lets get some focus and control and eliminate the penalties!

looked defeated

Highland didn't look defeated at all in the second half. Anyone who watched that game knew that the Rams completely had the momentum in the second half. They dominated big time, defensively and especially physically. Bountiful would've had to escape to win that game and the crazy part is: they nearly did. Huge win by the Rams and with a heavy heart by Sam Neilson.

Tough and nasty...

it seems like mostly nasty. 135 yards of penalties just isn't going to get it done against Pine View.

With discipline comes the wins, and no one on Highland has it, and it showed tonight.

Enjoy your win for a week, because you WON'T make it to the carpet.

Highland, 2 and through;
It's all about PineView!

Ram Phan!

Great Game Rams! What a way to start off the playoffs, The Defense really stepped up as it has throughout the year. I just wanna say that Bountiful was a formidable foe and it was too sad that one team had to lose this one. Now for the criticism, Rams! If you think that you can have penalties like that next week and win, your wrong. Rams! Please throw the ball more and especially to #7, he is an outstanding athlete and also throw more because running against 8,9,10 in the box will not work, you have to mix it up. If yall need an O.C then let me know cause I know for dang sure that I can call a better offensive game than what I saw last night. GO RAMS!!!

RAM FAN

Nice win Rams,
PLEASE control the penalties! Story of the first half was field position - dictated by your penalties. A little discipline will go a loooong!way!
Bountiful - Nice game, you are a quality progam and a classy team.

Ram Nation

Correction Mr. Devoe, the Rams, NEVER, looked defeated!
Ask the Brave, who ducked that punt reception, who looked defeated? The punt reception wasn't muffed, he didn't even try to catch it, he tried to duck it, and it clipped him! You got to try to catch it, for it to be muffed, he didn't even try to catch it! That may have been, because Highland, was already, on top of him, waiting to hit him, if he caught it, so he tried to get out of its way?
And the officiating? Horrendous! 14 to 17 penalties against Highland, versus, 2 for Bountiful? Now tell me that is a fairly called game? Sure we deserved some of those, but there were so many no calls, in favor of the Braves, that I lost count!
Luckily, the refs weren't able to give this game away, and we got the W!
That said, the boys played their hearts out, and didn't let the one sided officiating, get them down.
Do we have to work on penalties, YES, but this game, the officials were horrible!

Way to play with heart Rams! The defense was unreal, the second half!
We need more discipline offensively! We need more passing! We need more play action! We need blocking! Penalties killed us!
But, like some have already said, the officials? What was up with that? But, we need to not even give them an excuse, to throw the laundry!
Pine View up next, take it one game at a time, look past no one!
Mools, way to play through the pain, you showed heart, and you tore it up! It's like the good old days!
Sam, this game's dedicated to Grandpa!

Welcome Highland, to Panther Town. Is this a first-ever meeting? Glad you're tough because that's the way we like it. Bring it. Bountiful Braves, sorry you lost. You had a great season, and we remember the tough, and very classy, game you gave us last year in the playoffs. A rematch would've been fine.
Well, Rams, come on down to the desert. Bring your tough, bring your class, and let's get it on.

Bountiful Fan...Refs were great

I believe the Highland fans say it best with their own comments about controlling the number of penalties. My guess is thats the first thing the Highland coach talked about after the game. I sure am glad our team is disciplined. The officials call what they see and see what they call. Thats all they can do. Get some discipline if you don't like to see so many flags, my guess is the officials have no idea how many flags went against Highland. Probably don't care either! No violation No flag. That's pretty simple and something all ya'al can take home with ya!

Ram Tough

That game was great! My hats off to the braves for the great game they played. Next week should be interesting. These teams haven't played each other so it should be a good one. Pineview here we come!!!!! Rams all the way!

BORING!

Boring teams Boring game - winner is out next week

Current Ram

GO HAYES!!!

Brave fan

What in the world was #3 thinking about on the muffed punt return? Where was his head?

RAM MANIAC

LET GO HIGHLAND! FOCUS ON YOUR NEXT GAME! IT GOES UP FROM HERE ON OUT!

RE: Boring

I'll bet you watch (and like) Dancing with the Stars.
That was a great game to watch - but then, you actually have to appreciate defense.

Highland Fan

The play calling was not bad, it was the execution. A lot of missed blocks out there boys. Highland fans needs to appreciate how great their coaches are! GO RAMS!!!

Bountiful

Nice season, Coach Wall I have all the respect in the world for you. But it is time to get a new OC. Your OC panics like crazy when things get tough or the game gets close. You would be better off with the young JV coach. Just a thought.

PV fan

First ever match up for these guys. Not knowing what to exspect will make for a fun week. Looking forword to friday, can't wait.
Good luck , both to teams.

Bountiful Class

I'm a Highland fan, but I want to congratulate Bountiful, on their season. Thank them for their good sportsmanship and class, and wish them good luck next year! Bountiful is a great program.
I also want to tell the Ram boys, way to be!
The most important thing, is to have fun!
HHS coaching staff, good work. It's hard being a coach, and having everyone second guess you. Same gos for the refs.
At HHS, we have a tradition of winning, but it's the way we win, that counts. Good sportsmanship is what it's all about!
Pine View is next, good luck to both teams.
Highland Rams, work on those penalties, and I have all faith, another trip to Rice-Eccles will follow.

Stay Focused

Rams, stay focused, disciplined, stick to your assignments, and fly around the field!
Ram Power!
