WOW

Alta, it looks like you really took control of the game. See you in a few weeks.

Observer

Viewmont has a terrible defense, especially at the ends. Until we can stop the run and put pressure on the QB, we will never be any good.

big johnny

wow region one, you guys are really good! Based on what has been said by the region 1 trash talkers- it must have been just and off week for both Viewmont and N-Ridge right????

By half time neither team knew what hit them. It must have been what shock and awe feels like.

ALTA FAN

A lot of attention goes to a couple other QB in the state. Olsen is just as good, if not better than any other QB. And he does it in only half a game. Go Hawks!

Alta is amazing. Better than last year for sure. Great team and class act. Good luck to Alta on the rest of the ride. Hope you win it all.

Region 1

Lets be realistic everyone knows Alta and Bingham are on their own levels. Jordan has athletes to give teams scares. Region 1 is the top region in the state as far as top to bottom play. The top 5 teams in region 1 could have beaten riverton, hunter, brighton, or kearns (the teams you play in league play) I personally dont think their is a team in region 1 that can beat Bingham or Alta but they can beat the rest of the teams in 5A.

What no TBLF

Why aren't the Layton fans chatting on the Alta page anymore? I really liked the chalk board material! Seriously what was it 97 to 21 Alta/Bingham over Region 1? Seriously and those teams were tied for third so the rankings are still legit especially considering viewmont beat the two best teams in Region 1!

Like my baby niece would say uh oh!

Alta fans, for your reading pleasure, here are some posts by Viewmont fans before their team got crushed.

Friday, the Viewmont folks will see total domiation - Maybe this was from an Alta fan. It was an accurate prediction.

Viewmont is better than Layton.
If Viewmont can get Olson on his back early and often Viewmont rides this into the 4th quarter w/ a chance to win. win or loose it will be interesting to see where Region 1 D-fences stack up.
couple other points
* Veiwmont plays on that crappy carpet too so no suprise for them there
*Veiwmont knows Alta better than any other Region 1 team and has had success
*Viewmont has beat the top teams in Region 1
*Nothing to loose, so no need for your smug BLNY save it

You have used this word "myopia" in three different posts! Wow you are so smart, you can use words that most people don't know. I'm glad you have a superiority complex that you can take out on people.
I added this one because I was the poster he referred to. No, I only used the word in one post. I can't help if someone else used it in their posts. The travails of not bothering to come up with a pithy user name.

Anonymous, I say your post on the Bingham/N.Ridge article. Love it ha ha! Keep em coming!

The team looked great! Good luck next week.

Don't believe everything you read - it's all selective.

Go Davis!

so just the other day we were watching film on Alta and were amazed how great Alta's defense was..They're D line and linebackers are solid! We have our work cut out for us for sure...

ALTAFAN

RE Go Davis, Tell you what, we'll do a comparison this weekend. Your "#1 defense" against our "average defense".I think you're a good team Davis, but your defense is going to need to dig in your heels a lot more then you did with Riverton. For that matter your offense is going to have to be rolling a lot harder too. It should be a fun game to watch and may the better team win.

You're right. I selected the most outrageous comments by Viewmont and Northridge fans, the ones I thought would make for the best reading.
"Keep your words soft and sweet, you never know when you're going to have to eat them." I don't remember who said it, and I might have misquoted but I think I got the meaning right.

Who cares

Who cares about Northridge and Viewmont. Davis blew both teams off of the field. Friday will be a tough game and a good one to watch. The Davis D will be tested but will come up big just like they have all year.

R.E. to Who cares

They've come up big all year??? Why didn't they take first in region?

Davis

Your biggest loss this year was by seven points from the Hawaii team. Second biggest was by six points from Layton. Expect a much bigger one by the end of the week.

R.E. to Who cares. Let the Davis fans say what they want. It'll give me more material to choose from next week.
Davis fans, here's a good example from a Viewmont fan.

Can the Darts do what the Vikings couldn't? I don't think so but please, talk your team up.

ALTAFAN

RE Who Cares,

Just so you know, Davis didn't blow both teams off the field. The score against Viewmont was 14-3 (what a blow out!). The score against Northridge was 31-7. 31-7 is good but not as good as 34-0 at the half like Bingham did. Final score for Alta/Viewmont 55-14 final for Bingham N.Ridge 42-7. Wow our JV teams are getting a lot of play this year! Is yours Davis? Or did you have to struggle for your scores?...
