I'm glad we shipped out Talley, Harris and Eskandarian. Talley did us good service and had his heart in the right place but he was just too ordinary. Harris will be lucky to still be in the league in three years time. Alecko scored one goal from open play in about 30 appearances for us, then has celebrated wildly after knocking in open net goals twice against us this season. I hate Alecko, my family hates Alecko, all the fans in my old section at RES hate Alecko--and this hatred has brought us all closer together. I'd rather ask for a Pablo Maestroani autograph or wear a Blanco shirt than be forced to watch Alecko bounce around the pitch like a ferret on crack, spraying shots 30 years off target. Good riddence. Let's give him an earful today.

The new stadium could've been 10,000 capacity and we still wouldn't sell it out today! COME ON GUYS... get all your friends/family to come to the game today @ 4pm. We will need a strong walk up crowd or else it will only be 50% full.

I laughed out loud when you said that Alecko hits shots 30 years off target.... I couldn't have said it better. Seriously sometimes I wonder if the guy has any idea where he is trying to shoot the ball.

I am from San Jose but made the trip to be there for the opening game in Rio Tinto. Wow, what an atmosphere!!! It reminded ome of some of the games I went to in Europe, with the flags waving and streamers and chants. It was awesome! I can only imagine how it's going to be today; the first playoff game ever in Rio Tinto Stadium. I wish I could be there for it but I will be watching on TV.....wait, I don't have Fox Soccer Channel. Is there a way to watch on the internet?
