Doesn't everyone know about Shakespeare?
Sure they/we know but that's how they got you to read the article!
Yeah, I thought for a second it was Shakespeare they were talking about. But if it really was Shakespeare, they would probably have said "the Bard," and not put it in quotes. Though I'm not really sure you can expect anybody to know that these days.
I'll admit, I was wondering how local libraries knew the "true" identity of Shakespeare so I took a look at the article.
