Sad Cowboy

Good Job cowboys, way to show the state that you are not the wost team in state, just the worst coached. as a former cowboy football player it makes me sick to see what has happened to our program. there was a time grantsville football was respected now its a joke. good luck against hurricane we will call it a victory if you can hold them under 50.

What's sad is this kind of comments. And for all of you "former cowboys"... playing in 3-A is alot different than 2-A. This football team is fighting back and not giving up and that my friend deserves respect.. GO COWBOYS!!!!

To Sad Cowboy

I don't know if you have ever coached, probably not. I coached against Grantsville this year and that fact is they don't have the talent to be real good. Quit blaming the coach and tell the local boys to get off their skateboards and xbox and go play football. Then you might have the talent

Congrats

Congratulations Tony. Good luck this weekend.

sunny south

Come on down cow-boys...and get some.

SC man

All the way from South Carolina go Cowboys. Shock the state.

hey ithink that i remember a couple years ago grantsville was in this same situation. and went to the state playoffs... grantsville has all the tools to do it again go cowboys!

Anonymous

Hey sunny south, you'll get some. Trust me.

to the clueless

Grantsville has the talent to compete in 3A and those of you who say they don't are clueless! It's a copout an excuse to loose. The head coach is an idiot and should be coaching in the little league like most of his assistants. The truth can hurt.

Down south

Hurricane will demolish who ever shows up. The first two rounds will be a cake walk.

Cowboy Tuff

Way to go Cowboys! Don't let anyone tell you no, just focus on your own game

Tiger Fan

I think you better keep your mouth shut "Down south". Let the football team do its job on the field and keep your dumb comments to yourself!

funny funny

I can't get over how funny it is that Hurricane fans are on this forum telling Cowboy Fans to "keep your dumb comments to yourself." Why are these Tiger Fans commenting on the Grantsville/Bear River/Ben Lomond article anyway? I mean, I know there isn't much to do in Hurricane (probably less to do in Grantsville), but you would think reading the Grantsville articles wouldn't be so appealing to them. Thanks Tigers for giving an old Cowboy a chuckle. We'll see you Saturday. And take it easy on us will ya? We just wanna come home in one piece. Where's Hurricane anyway?

To All Bloggers

How about all you forty year-olds that don't have a life do something else than sit on your butts and talk trash about high school kids.. How about a job? or contributing to our society? Or maybe just get out and vote.

HOw TuFf Please

Ya how tough it must be to compete in 2A in everything but football. PLEASE!!! What ya afraid of cant compete in Football unless your 1A

re:HOw TuFf Please

Who competes in 2A?

Go Tigers

Tigers are an incredibly tough team. They'll win every game from here on out if they play hard, like they always do, and have fun. LET'S HIT 'EM HARD!

Re: To All Bloggers

how do you know this? how do you know it isn't the actual players or a student????? hmm go teams yay

yay

yay i love football!

Grantsville's Woes began...

with a fella by the name of Butler, taking his highly regarded team to Wendover to promote selling alcohol in one of his Casino's. Let's be real. Hamilton did a great job there, but had to pick up Butler's pieces and knew when it was time to leave. Then Cloward gets the opportunity, but had damaged goods to deal with.

As for the LL comment, give me a break. Grantsville's LL program is horrible, and that's the feeder into the High School program Tony has to deal with.

Name me an UNSUCCESSFUL LL program that consistently produces a high caliber, dominating High School program? Just one. C'mon smart guy.

Good luck to the Coaching staff and players who give it their all every week in practice!
