I believe in the right for citizens to have guns. I also believe that those who choose to have guns are legally and morally responsible to ensure that they are not misused.
The parents should be criminally charged for endangering these young people.
Minors do not have the legal rights to handle guns.
the parents are lucky that the boy did not die.
This was not an accident.
This was neglegence
I believe that it is way too easy to sit in judgement when one knows nothing of the family or circumstances. So this family is suffering from a severely traumatic, even devastating experience, and the next step is to add insult to injury by seeking criminal negligence charges? I think that is a foolish and insensitive thing to say or suggest.
The newspaper doesn't tell the whole story. The family doesn't need anybody telling them stuff when that person doesn't know the family or the whole story. All the family needs caring people around them. You never know how it feels untill it happens to you. I know the family. The family is nice and I wish them best.
I agree completely with neighbor and washingtonian. These people are great amazing people and what they are going through right now is absolutley devastating. There is no reason for ANYBODY to be pointing fingers at this point. think about the family and their current struggles.
