This article has a funny headline
I agree with Anonymous. Elimination of one word would solve it.
I don't frequent Las Vegas Strip shows, but if I did, I don't think I would want to see Marie and definitely not Donny strip their clothing. But then again, Donny is a little bit Rock n Roll.
A brother and sister strip show in Vegas--what has this world come to?
Agree - the headline is pretty funny! Good for Donny and Marie, though. I'd love to take in their show. I so enjoyed watching the Osmond Family when they joined the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for a concert recently. Go Donny & Marie!
Have FUNN in Vegas!!!
To get somebody to read the story or is this writer just oblivious?
I am so glad such wonderful entertainers are still in business, to offer a good choice to people. I went to see their show years ago in Seattle. They do great!
and I going to do things that only stay in Vegas!
Good to see that they teach such strong family values by performing in Sin City! Wasnt that long ago that the LDS Church wouldnt issue a Temple Recommend if you worked there.
I would rather see Led Zeppelin! Hopefully the reunion tour stops here. As a memeber of the LDS church I never took much pride in the Osmonds or BYU. In fact it is an embarrasment to talk about either and my religion. Gladys Knight rocks! Ya gotta love Gladys!
Good to see Marie stay at home with her 8 children. Dark glasses highly recommended on the Strip.
I hope LDS Zeppelin isn't nearly as ignorant as he writes. If you don't like to talk about your religion, why are you?????
@ Now the Worlds a safer place!--
What on earth are you talking about? Some of the strongest members of the LDS faith live AND work in Las Vegas. If you couldn't have a temple recommend because you work in L.V., how do you think they keep the L.V. Temple operating? Bus all the Mormons somewhere else to work?
Hey, Who Cares
Looks from the picture like Donnie is on his way to being Vegas's Wayne Newton of the 21st century.
I knew who I was going to see. Didnt know what to expect but the show was awesome and it was a packed house everyseat full.
Good for the Osmonds. We always enjoy seeing people being successful and the Osmonds are that. If you want to see their show.. then go see it. If you don't, then do something else. By trashing your religion or some of its members about all you are actually doing is showing your own failures. I could never compete in show business and I would not want to. I enjoy the pros who entain the rest of us. If you can do better, get a contract and go baby.
I haven't even read the article yet, but the sensationalized headline shows that even the DN is not above playing games with the facts to "shock" to attract viewership. I doubt the Osmonds consider this the "Las Vegas Strip Show." Or maybe I'm just a misguided pervert. Either way, including the word strip was probably not entirely necessary. We all pretty much know where Vegas is and what it's all about. Oh, and Donny Osmond becoming Wayne Newton...nice!:)
Good grief! Don't you morons know that the area of Las Vegas Blvd from approximately where the Stratosphere is on the North, to where Mandalay Bay is on the South, is referred to as "the strip" and refers to the strip of highway that all those casinos & hotels are located on. Sheeeesh!
