What a GREAT game!!! I am a Beetdigger fan and could tell that Jordan was ready for this game, but Alta just pulled it out with incredible heart and grit! Way to play Hawks... that was one of the best high school football games I have EVER seen. Jordan's Alex Hart pulled off nearly 400 passing yards and more than a hundred on the ground! He is as tough to stop as Alta's great QB was. I love being part of the "Football Fraternity". Being a part of the same club help to teach boys to become disiplined, accountable and positive young men, as I once was taught myself, makes me feel great to see such exciting games and great competition. I hope we see Alta again in the State Championship game... and I have a sneaky suspicion that we will! Jordan is on their game and just lost the Region Title last night by one play and only 3.5 seconds! Again, GREAT JOB ALTA... now lets do that game one more time!

Alta good job. jordan should of had that game. You got lucky at the end but all around a great played football game. We will see you guys in the playoffs for a better turn out

WOW, Congrats to Alta and Jordan. By far the best game that I have seen in a long time. What a great BATTLE. And if Jordan wasn't Alta's top rivalry before the game they sure should be now. Fantastic finish, to bad someone had to lose. Great QB battle all night. What a great atmosphere as well. If you weren't there you missed a game for the ages.

Both teams showed a lot of class!! It was a great atmoshpere, a great rivalry and a great game to see!

Great game Diggers!! You had them beat. It was whoever had the ball last. If there were 30 seconds left after alta's field goal Jordan would have marched down and won.
At least Alta knows someone in Utah can beat them.
Now go take care of business in playoffs and we'll finish off the Hawks in state!!!!

that was the best high school game i've been to in a LONG time. I usually just go to talk with my friends but this one was amazing. way to go alta!!

Alta should of lost that game... they blew leads througout the game. Jordan battled and played hard. Maybe alta aint the best team in 5a anymore???? its possibly PG

Alta was one play away from getting Bingham in the quarters Layton in the semis and PG in the finals and yet you act as though this was a blow out Great job Hart enjoy your win all it told us was how soft region 2 is, and for all the trash Talk Alta fan puts on here, show some humility, you can and will get beat. do you guys even practice D-fence in Region 2 Ha Ha Ha pathetic

As a past football player, and a current football junkie! I don't really like the term luck when it comes to football. I suppose it's because a good football coach and team will always work through every scenario they may face in a game.

I just think football has a lot to do with the way the ball bounces and what you do after each bounce! If Jordan gave up in the first quarter down 14-0, and then even again in the 2nd quarter down 21-0 then we wouldn't have seen the best game of the century! Just the same had Jordan given up in the 4th quarter down two touchdowns we would have never seen the amazing bomb from Hart and then the bounce of the onside kick.

Lastly if Alta had given up when they were down 36-35 with 40 something seconds left we would have never seen the amazing finish that we saw! I don't believe that for one minute there were any lucky bounces, the ball does what it does and it's up to the players to react and the coaches to coach! AMAZING GAME!!!!
