Good Job Vikings!! they beat you but they didn't out play you! Northridge won on errors from Viewmont. I am not saying that they were not capable of beating Viewmont..that can happen to anyone..I think the 3 interceptions really helped. I was impressed with how Viewmont played and believe that they could have had that game. Still being quite conservative with thier talent. They have a RB that rarely gets an opportunity to show what he can do. #26 Mccloyn-his Dad played for the U and that football runs in his blood. If given the chance-a good pitch and some good blocks he could have several scores a game. Too bad his coach refuses to recognize how talented he is, and if that isn't what is going on i apologize to the coach in advance. They have Alta on friday I hear..keep the ball on the ground..and give it to someone who knows how to hold on to..go get the Hawks Vikes,,you can do it

The score for this game has been incorrectly reported. The above story says Northridge 28, Viewmont 23. The box score says Northridge 28, Viewmont 24. The scoring summary says Northridge 35, Viewmont 23. These kinds of reporting inconsistencies are unacceptable. Deseret News, please correct these mistakes. I am sure there are lots of fans out there who can help you with the correct score.

to True blue oh us northridge fans are here. and Bingham vs Northridge game is going to be one of the best games of the year but Knights will pull a win out this week enough said our defense is stepping it up and our offense is in the groove Bingham you better be ready for a very very good game.

9.5 - Bingham/Northridge will look tame in comparison to last night's Alta/Jordan game.

It's been a little while since we've Ridge fans have had something to talk about. But last nights game gives us some hope and looks like we are starting to put some good play together finally. We still had too many bad things happen and if we would have been playing bingham last night we probably wouldnt have won, but we were playing viewmont and now we have a shot to take down a 1 seed nothing is sweeter than that! I'm looking forward to the game this week and rootin for all region 1 teams!

Compare points all you want but they dont mean a thing if your playing different teams especially comparing teams in region 1 and teams in Regions 2 and 3 you know those regions have very weak teams in there and you can run up the score 56-0 so the only points that matter are the ones this friday

I agree with you Dark Knight. I am sick to death of hearing people yap about Bingham and Alta and how great they are. And granted, it might be slightly justified. My son has played against these teams since he was 8. Alta has 400 times the kids to pick from and i bet they cherry pick every kid that plays. They have always had the biggest and best ball clubs. I have faith that if the V boys go out and play with thier heads in the game, they are going to give Alta a serious run for thier money. I hope every Davis County team blows at least one team out in the playoffs! It would do my heart some good!
