Should not have been a close game by any means. Skyline played terrible and still shut out Brighton. Though the game was close, it was played very poorly by Skyline and they still managed to get a win. This shows how much brighton has gone downhill and will need a miracle in the playoffs.

From all the trash I've heard from Skyline lately this game isn't very convincing... Sixteen to zero against Brighton? Almost 9-0?... And you were telling Alta and Jordan you'd be back to beat them... Silly beagles. To have any chance in the playoff's you're going to need to step it up a lot from how you've been playing the past month.

Both these teams are Bad and going out in the First round. Skyline has got worse each week as opposed to better. Brighton is Just bad and will get spanked by PG this next week. Skyline is also going to lose this week to LP. It ends this week for Both Teams.

When lp has to worry about pass and run like against Spanish then they struggle a little. But when its all one or the other like Skyline is to run Then Lp Will Crush. LP Holds Skyline to 175 total yards. LP wins 10-0 thats my prediction.

Nobody can really explain what happened in 05. Lets face it though, it's not like it's something Skyline does every year like they're trying to make it sound. If that were the case then where were they in 06 and 07? Skyline you're not going to make it. Just deal with it and move on. I perdict LP blows out Skyline in the first round. If by some weird twist of fate Skyline actually wins,Layton will finish them off in the second.

Skyline is done this week, they have played worse and worse each week. To barely Beat a Bad Brighton team is a Joke. 05 Skyline actually had some talent then and had an easy route to the Finals. You can thank Brighton for knocking off Bingham that year who should have won and Brighton was beating Skyline when Hague went down and everything changed. There is no miracle for Skyline this year, Learn how to throw the ball effectively and you have a chance, everyone who plays skyline knows all they have to do is shut down the run and they are winners. Get a passing game Skyline and then other teams might start to fear you again. You notice the best teams in the state pass well.

duh...Alta fans...why do you even care!!!??!?!? this was not your game and you bearly pulled out that jordan game this week. Stop wishing you could get a fight out of Brighton. Your school is way too much into the brighton alta rivalry. maybe if you payed more attention to your opponent coming up you would have played better this week. Get over it.

When college coaches get fired it's usually around the third losing season. They don't teach at the school, so letting them go doesn't get too complicated. What about high school coaches? How many losing seasons can schools live with before they make changes? High school coaches usually work at the school so I imagine that could get a little tricky letting someone go. Brighton has higher expectations than 3-7, 2-8, 2-8(2-9 most likely) My older son is going to have 3 losing seasons in his high school career. My younger son is wondering about going to a different school now. So if anyone out there knows how high school coaching and administrators work things out please post so I can have an idea.

Why does it always have to be the coach? Have you really taken a look at the material? Brighton had its day, now it is in a older cycle where parents have aged and kids are hard to find. Why do you think the best teams in the state are where the younger families are? Quit the Blame Game, and accept things the way they are. Coaches dedicate their lives to YOUR kids, hows your job going? Maybe some one should talk to your boss. Go Deep.

How many 2 or 3 win seasons can Bullett survive? How long will the parents let him blame the loosing on lack of moral fiber and desire? It is a joke that a 2 win team can make the playoffs!

it is easy to blame the coach...yet when it is all said and done look at the film it don't lie, it is all the material one has to work with. it is not easy to spend alot of hours on the program when one has their own family but here is an idea ..most successfull programs require or encourage their football players to run track wheter thy win or lose , the track hardens the legs for football and the intrinsic attributes only had to the success of both programs..but here in the micro-wave society even that might not be enough!

RE Anonymous @ 7:30, Actually Jordan is a bigger rival then Brighton. Nobody invests in a Brighton/Alta rivalry except maybe the sophs. At this point they have a right to I might add. Hmmm we barely pulled out a win over Jordan eh? Well I'll take that over the spanking they gave you whether you be from Skyline or Brighton. As far as the last part of your comment saying pay attention to the upcoming game because we would have played better, what does that mean for you? You couldn't beat us. Were you dwelling on a past game or something?
