Sounds like the old days, prior to about the mid 1970s. Renters weren't looked down on then, and it was very common for newly married couples to rent for a few years and save for a down payment. Those that couldn't save for a down payment were expected to rent, until they could. It seemed to be a pretty good system, unlike the bankrupt system of today.

What!

Who exactly does this help? Utah economy down the tubes like everywhere else.

Help who?

Now people will no longer be able to afford rent or a mortgage.
