Skywest wants to be the "sole carrier in and out of this airport"? Why, so they can avoid open market competition and control the cost and schedule of all air travel to St. George? I say throw in at least one other carrier and let the free market work.
Well you know.... Skywest is Owned and Operated by Delta.... Don't get your unders in a wad... They want to maintain them in the airport. I don't think you realize how the airlines operate. Investigate.
City of St George needs to get competition in this city at the new airport. People don't like to fly out of St George because it is cheaper to drive to Las Vegas and fly out.
Scott how do you buy a ticket from Skywest?
Why don't you follow your own advice - SkyWest is NOT owned by Delta. They have operating agreements with Delta and with Continental - but, they are not OWNED by either carrier. Educate yourself before making statements that are not backed by facts.
