the ref gave the game to colorado. he handed out two very weak pks. Colorado is a lazy team, they play ugly soccer. Chivas held back having already clinched.

If RSL lose, is there still a chance that they could get a wild card spot. If two of three teams lose out of Kansas City, New York, and DC, can we advance on goal differential? Or is to based on head to head records?

That's a negative Andrew. If RSL lose they are out. The first tie-breaker is head-to-head and they lose that to both KC and NYRB.

The refs get RSL again or is it the MLS Commissioners office? were the refs told to throw the game and give it to CR? sure seems like it. 2 very week calls in the box.

At 39 apiece, if NY and KC both lose (and DC doesn't win), you'd all be tied for 2 spots. It would go head-to-head among all three teams for the first spot. Then head-to-head among the two teams left for the second one. If either of those are tied, ONLY THEN does it go to goal differential, where RSL is ahead of the other two.

So, RSL's PPG against NY and KC (t,l,t,l) is 0.50
NY's is 1.00
KC's is 2.00

So KC gets the first wildcard.

Then RSL and NY go head to head for the last one, where NY gets it because they have one tie and one NY win.

a hundred comments on the Utah/BYU ranking. And under 10 on RSL. That accurately reflect the ratio of interest in the respective sports. RSL is already failing. Wonder what they'll do with that monstrosity of a stadium when RSL leaves utah.

The announcer jinxed RSL by announcing that they had made the playoffs before last night's game had even finished! We celebrated too soon and now we could be in trouble.

I went to the game against Dallas. As we were talking out the door there was a team rep saying, "Congratulations! We are now selling playoff tickets in at the ticket office! Get them while they last!" Bah, humbug.

The comment title alone tells volumes about the person who wrote it.

There were like tens of thousands at the soccer game on Saturday and like on some of like those thousands like liked it. Ok. Oh and like RSL will like fold as a team and like....sorry that was annoying.

Anyway, Goooo REAl SALT LAKE!
