rose is a stand up guy and isn't about that... he only talks with his
performance on the court... and if u remember correctly, deron williams took
time to adapt, and rose is at a higher learning curve already
Getting schooled by the best must be no fun for an immature rookie. I've seen
players do this on purpose (for example Bruce Bowen on Vince Carter), the truth
is Rose knew who he was up against and this is the only way for him not to look
ridiculous. Derek Rose is a hater and a coward.
Derek Rose had no chance at blocking that shot and it was a planned cheap shot.
The league needs to look at the tape closely. As far as the media
goes. Who cares. The media is all about attention. If no attention is given to
media talk, then nothing happens. The media thrives on stuff like this. Media, if you want to get an interview, go interview the cheap shot
I will now forever not like Derek Rose.
I hope you get over your ankle injury speedy quick, and at 100%. Make sure you
are ready to come back to avoid reinjury..... I have you on 2 fantasy teams and
am a fan as well so good luck and get well soon....
Well, D-Rose has already collecting some success it seems. This effort by
Williams to put Rose "in due rookie place" came from the game before when Rose
clearly didn't back-off from the PG show Williams tried to put on him.
Competitiveness excess can be tricky sometimes. Anyway Williams will be
fine, even if it took him a month or so. And the Jazz will be fine too IF
Boozer just start to take a little care of the basketball.-
I saw the game, and the play when Dwill hurt his ankle.....and it reminded me of
a trick Isiah Thomas used to play...when guarding, Thomas would shift feet under
the jump shooter to distract shooter, break rhythm as the shooter would change
body to avoid the defender's feet. Yeah....it look possibly, as Rose (another
chicago product like thomas) may have doen that. The possibly silver
lining..Sloan's teams are always well prepared, and inserting Price, a very good
backup, into the starting lineup, could help the Jazz steal games, while other
teams attempt to find their game. And, Dwill can use some rest after a hectic
summer. BTW..Andrei looks great as a 6th man..he is passing,
shooting, playing good defense...it may be a very good yr for the Jazz.
At go utes: I hope you are not serious .... too bad they were negative...
MR. BUCKLEY WHY THE HURRY IN INTERVIEWING MR. WILLIAM THIS WAS NOT THE
TIME AND DIFFENTLY NOT THE PLACE TO GET A INTERVIEW FROM DERON. HE WAS IN ALOT
PAIN AND WAS CONCERN ABOUT THE EXTEND OF HIS INJURY.WHAT WOULD ANOTHER DAY
MATTER IN TALKING TO DERON.HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CORDIAL AND GRACIOUS IN HIS
INTERVIEWS MR. BUCKLEY AS A FAN I THINK YOU SHOULD RETRACT YOUR STATEMENT
ESPECIALLY ABOUT HIM ACTING RUDELY ALLYOU WHERE INTERESTED IN WAS GETTING NEWS
FOR YOUR PAPER AND NOT A BET CONCERN FOR THE HEALTH OF DERON
It is too bad that the x-rays were negative.
Now is the time for my buddy CJ to step up and show Sloan he is the man!!!
Sloan needs to start CJ at point and stop wasting time with Knight and Price.
We hope you recover quickly and to full capacity D-Will! We need you and wish
you the best!
oh gosh they have to fly in airplanes? thats terrible!
The Jazz players should show more rescpect for the beat writers. After all, they
are BEAT writers. That is a very important job. You have to go to school for
like 4 years to get a job like that. They work SOOO hard. They have to fly in
air planes. I feel sorry for these REAL American heros. They sacrifice so much
Of course he's worried. Wow, yes, bad sprains take a few weeks.I
think I'll call you Captain Obvious
The mentor JSLO is worried about getting DWILLback playing. Come on J SLO
no one was thinking thatfarm boy. Looks like a bad sprain 2 to 3 weeks my
I would not want to talk to reporters either. Who ever really wants to
talk to you anyway. You will twist things around to be negitive. Why
do you try and piss off the number one player on our team with this stupid
story. He shouldnt comment until he knows exactly what is wrong, false hope or
false worry can be avoided this way. BTW reporters started all the crap about
Boozer opting out of his contract. Do you not ever ask for a raise? This is
how NBA players ask for theirs.Best of luck with your ankle Dwill.
Finally! Sloan will be forced to find out which PG is D-Will's backup. All
contenders (healthy ones) should get enough game time to sort it out.Depending on how long D-Will is out (into the real season), Sloan might devise
a way to play without a true PG a lot of the game, just to keep the best players
on the floor long enough to win.As bad as this is, it does have a
silver lining, IF Sloan takes advantage of it by thinking long term and not
worrying about winning EVERY game early in the season. Don't know if that's in
