Guess he will have to face the fact he isnt mr popular any more.
Looks like a witness doesn't want to be questioned because?????????? Could she have something to hide. Can she keep her story straight. Is the soap opera getting a bit to bubbly.....lol?
With all the accusations flying about flds trying to avoid the light of day it looks like the other side is avoiding a bit of questioning now.
zxcvbnm: Or she could feel threatened by the FLDS.
mr jeffs has been god to thousands of people for years, extorting cash from them at every turn, so he continues to have money to fight with in spite of how richly he deserves to be right where he is. he ruined a pretty significant number of lives. the wall case is but one of many he needs punishment for. yes, potential witnesses definitely fear flds retaliation. the delightfully "holy" flds is big on death threats and on "disappearing" people when they see fit. warren receives blind obedience from people who refuse to believe any of the evil he has perpetrated against many, and this whole thing is pathetic. wj is a wretched but predictable result of a wretched belief system. all these polygamy- related offenses must keep being prosecuted and people must pay for the serious things they have done in the name of religion out there in the affected states. But it is a national disgrace and a very sad waste of stubbornly blind people's money to have to deal with him like this.
Yep.......the ole "I feel "threatened" just amounts to more drama.
Give the witness a police escort and 24 hour guard for the next twenty years just to make the drama more pronounced but a witness can't refuse a supena because the witness is scared.....throw out all the accusations in a book deal and whine to the media about the "trauma" of testifying to boost sales of the next book is a standard bookseller practice.
The witness could use the Willie stares at me excuse if she wants.........get another restraining order.
But if she was involved in the gossip that brought the charges she has to play by the real rules now.
wow - you believe everything that the FLDS says and nothing that any one else says.
ignorance is bliss...
It is not a matter of believing what FLDS says.
It is a matter of investigating ex-flds accusations compareing the accusations to non flds witnesses and investigating flds claims.
Looking at the laws and constitution helps determine legal rights and general fairness.
I came into this as shocked as many people and still am disgusted with some flds behaviors but I try to remain as objective as I can given the number of ex-flds accusations that have proven false.
I will admit that I am giving flds the benefit of the doubt but even an objective court is supposed to do that.
I try to imagine my church and its teachings being questioned to the degree that flds have been questioned or my fellow church members being treated the way the flds have been treated.
BTW.......I am Catholic and have seen inuendo and rumor applied to the church for the behavior of a few church leaders but in all honesty the flds is getting it worse than the Catholics ever have.
I will not apologize for my opinion and will continue to look at both sides but will not condem innocent people based on rumors......too many rumors have proven false.
