I'm not too keen on Ohno. His fouling the Korean Skater and getting away with it in a previous Olympics is a big reservation.

Anon - The 2002 Olympics were six years ago, Apolo and the Korean team have gotten over it - you should too.

I was there | 5:10 p.m. Oct. 17, 2008
Anonymous: I was in the Delta Center when Ohno was clearly fouled by a Korean skater during the 2002 Olympics. The call came late (and the Korean skater disrespected his flag at that point) but it was the right call.

He's so talented | 8:47 p.m. Oct. 17, 2008
and he's got a great presence and unique look. Honestly, he's really taken this sport to a level of popularity that would never have happened without him. His combination of cool name, extreme talent, and unique look has elevated the sport for sure. I think he's actually made it kind of a fad, particularly here in Utah, and it's probably going to lose popularity once the phenom that is Apolo is gone from the sport. It's cool that he's training and residing here in Utah. Definitely proud of that.
I have heard that he's become a bit of an arrogant diva since his Dancing with the Stars days, but I guess that's inevitable. I'm still kind of a fan. You just can't ignore the power of his skills. He's amazing on the ice. If you haven't had the chance to see him up close at the oval, do it!!

I knew that Apolo can beat anyone in team, but not so easy because Korean want to beat him so badly. It not about argue between Korean or Apolo. It doesn't matter how lose or win it just part of the game. I would like to say good luck and I'm looking forward to see him in Vancouver and I'm root for him so other fan out there too.

To "He's so Talented" on Apolo being arrogant. I happened to be in Minneapolis at the World Cup Qualifier. I met Jordan Malone's mom (speed skater). Anyway, she went on and on about what a great genuine guy Apolo was. She said he was always gracious to fans, and wonderful to his teammates. She said he welcomed competition and used it to challenge himself. She told me she knew him a long time. I am not sure how it even came up, but she definitely wanted me to know how impressed she was with him as a person. She said he deserves everything that has happened to him because he puts everthing into it. I thought this might be helpful for you to know.
