Blackwater offers a lot of services that are a real necessity to many companies world wide. They have gotten a bad rap in the past and people need to get all the facts. I hope they are able to get permission to offer their services.
Yes, but at what price - we know what Blackwater charge. Learn something from history. In Colonial Kenya, the British in their bid to curb poaching of wild animals, offered the captured poachers the option of gainfull employment by becoming game rangers to track down poachers. Do the same here. The pirates wil be the best anti piracy police and at offardable prices - then think of the humantarian aspect - gainfull employment for the jobless Somalis.
I think the all this ship traveling along this route should be able to defend themself. They should have their own security officer with a crew at least four and well armed.. Compare to the price blackwater is going to charge and their position with the investigation going on..
