Final debate to help rivals hone images

It would be so nice if we would do the same, 6 weeks primary, 6 weeks general.
Our campaigns go on way too long, it is tiresome.
Exactly! Think of the millions of dollars that could be put to better use. It doesn't mean we have a stronger democracy just because we spend more time on the campaign process.
Obama and McCain will raise taxes. On who is the question.
You're of sturdy Republican stock, aren't you?
(And if ACORN is so evil, than why did John McCain tell volunteers that they were "the best of America" at a 2006 rally? Look it up.)
Also, if I have to hear another body language expert talk about what went on--I am going to puke. What is wrong with politics in America...the media trying to frame and template the debate and everything else before the election happens.
Tax and Spend
or
Not Tax but still Spend
Live within you means. Don't spend in the red. We should have a balanced budget.
McCain & Sarah 2008 ALL THE WAY TO THE WHITE HOUSE NOW!.
Why are neither party talking about the decline in the dollar, that entitlements are going to kill this country in less than 15 years, and that we are broke?
You Obama massiah people think he is going to change any of that? Do you think McCain will? You are asleep at the wheel.
Our great empire is ending just like the Romans, the Greeks, the German and the English. We are imploding.
A B.O./Polosie/Reed Government will only quicken the downfall.
China and Russia will be the new superpowers in ten years.
Our two party system has failed us, we all know it. But we don't have the will to fight it. When our leaders recieve a 12% (Congress) & 22% (President)approval ratings and they still get to keep their jobs, we must be the stupidest people on the planet. Now we are voting in Obama, so taht same congress can have another crack at it. We are lost and stupid, lazy and beguiled.
There should be riots in the streets. A revolution.
Don't tell that is what Obama has, most of Obama supporters are just Bush haters, blinded by a smooth talking politician.
Isn't it over yet???
My choice is, and has always been, easy.
Republican - no matter who the candidate is.
However, this is the first time I've been scared of the democratic alternative.
If he gets in, and we have demo congress, heaven help us.
Neither McCain nor Obama were behind this. While this is certainly disconcerting it should not reflect on either candidate.
Is it strange that the GOP is already insinuating voter fraud and they have not even lost yet?
So, how old was Obama when Ayers said "I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough"?
Nobody's suggesting Obama was involved in the bombings. (Good move to re-frame the question. He's a consummate politician, I'll give him that.) That wasn't the question, though-- just what is your association with the man, Senator?
Interesting how the media puts these two..who are saying the same exact thing...Big Government and No Civil rights in the forefront. why isnt there a debate with ALL the parties? We have Libertarian, Constitution, Green and other parties who have much better suited candidates than these dim whits. We are fast becoming a socialist nation. The fake debate, preapproved scripts by both parties will be unimpressive, nausiating and enraging..they will bicker and pull at each others hair then we will be left to wonder what the country has come to. Its time to look at the other candidates and vote for a real person, not a corperate puppet!
Now there's a typical Utah voter. How about actually learning and thinking for a change? Brand loyalty is not always a wise thing when the brand has gone bad.
There are some questions I would like to see answered: Obama was the son of a single parent and apparently raised by Grandparents. Who paid for his private schooling? Who paid for his college education? Who paid for his law school costs?
His policy says he will raise taxes on people making over $250,000. All you people that own your own business, have pass through corporations, or LLC's better get ready for big tax increases, because that will include you. You may not net $250,000, but your business makes it, so you will be taxed on it. He will raise capital gains. You buy a foreclosed house at a low price now, and flip it - watch out on how much tax it will cost you.
Anyone who TRUSTS O'Bama has blinders on...This guys scares me....the bigger the lie, the easier for some to believe. All his actions and associations are plain to see yet the gullability of the media and left is UnderWhelming
Amen Brother, America is going to be real sorry if the decieved vote him into office,
And now things are so bad, we're even willing to elect as president, a man with nothing but a history of association with evil, who very possibly isn't even an American citizen, and a wife that has vocalized her hate for America. Good job people! If Obama gets elected (and he will), this nation is doomed!
Right now it is estimated that Obama will win 344 electorates to McCain's 164.
I will vote for him, but many are still undecided. Both candidates are good at their debating, but
John Mc need to shine tonight to get ahead in the immage of many.
Go McCAIN!!!
No Geezer, No gidget.
Obama '08.
At that point hockey mom's 15 minutes of fame will be up and we'll never hear from her again. She can go back to governing Alaska and having a nanny raise her child while she takes credit for being super mom.
Out-of-touch McCain can go pout in one of his dozen or so houses and wonder why middle class America couldn't connect with him and republicans everywhere can ponder the mistake of running these two deatbeats instead of other choices that might have had a chance.
I'm also curious how often McCain will say: "Obama wants to raise your taxes!"
Stay tuned.
Remember what they did in Florida?
These nasty people will do "whatever it takes" (one of their mottos) to win the election. "Right is right" people have a way of doing that.
Heaven help us? Heaven help us?
The election of Bush was cast in the light of good vs. evil and according to you Republicans good won. How could anyone have screwed up our nation as much as Bush did in only eight short years? Where was your heaven then? Where was the protection from your heaven from what you Republicans call Gods President? Or is this what your heaven had in mind?
Frankly, the last thing our country needs is any more help from your heaven. Hasnt it done enough damage already?
I believe that it is really exposing a deep seated racism and ignorance. At a minimum it is small-mindedness.
By the way, have any of you McCain supporters read the full story on McCains Keating dealings? How about how he cheated on his devoted wife after she was deformed in a car wreck... then started chasing 'richer skirts?' Cindy and John were married like 5 weeks after his divorce from Carol. Guess that makes Cindy the "first home-wrecker" in the white house if John wins. Go look it up on google of wikipedia.
What socialism? Where are these mythical socialists that you keep talking about?
Are you afraid that if we house the homeless that they will rise up against us all and take over government?
How about feeding the hungry? Will the once famished take over our local elections and banish the rich from our country?
How about a solution to our countrys health care crisis? Will this mean that enough poor people will keep living, vote Democrat and prevent Republicans from ever winning an election again?
Is this the tyranny that you are squawking about?
Let me guess, in your book 54% of our national budget being spent on the military is not enough. Yet, theres a certain irony that the military is a 100% socialistic institution.
The greatest threat of tyranny in this country is not socialistic programs that feed the poor but further erosion of our civil rights, a presidency that can drag an entire country into a non-declared war, and yet another secret government running our military (Like under Reagan during the Iran-Contra scandal.)
Barak Obama!!!
Sorry Guys!!! we will need to take McCain to the Utah Housecare and take Palin to the guys for Greenpeace!!!
What a nice 2009!!!
Look at your own Senators and Representatives and what they have done for the economy, and then make an informed decision as to who is best to lead us.
Beware... | 9:27 a.m. Oct. 15, 2008
What are you talking about? Youre predicting something that is completely absurd while ignoring the reality of what were all facing right now.
The enlightened voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004 and look at what we got! America is VERY VERY sorry that this corrupt man, chosen by Gods people, ever got into office.
Anyone who is foolish enough to trust the theists AGAIN and believe their inspired methods of choosing a president would have to be the epitome of gullibility. Take off the blinders of religion, dogma and superstition and see the very real problems in our country RIGHT NOW! Put aside your fear mongering of some future evil and lets work together to solve the very real evils of a corrupt government TODAY!
Like it or not, the incumbent party always gets blamed for the bad economy. It's the way politics is.
If McCain starts in with the Rush O'Hannity-type attacks calling Obama a liberal or terrorist - that should certainly seal his doom.
America (the REAL America - not the fascist one) is sick to [bleeping] death of this sort of drive-by politics and in my opinion, has already spoken.
