I thought after the BYU game there would be some confidence on this team. We saw they had talent last week. I watched it on ESPNU and was disgusted at the pretty much everything. No effort, no plan, SJSU had every play sniffed out. Coach Guy should have the decency to resign if you cant get your guys excited to play. This was absolutely ridiculous. If you lose, you lose but please show some effort. There was absolutely none.
I've been going to USU for six years now (grad student now)and not once have I felt like they've had a team who cared about winning. The lack of effort you saw against SJSU is what we've been looking at on a consistent basis. I especially love paying outrageous amounts of tuition, just to watch them remodel the stadium, pump money into a program that is an enormous disappointment year in and out, and pay Coach Guy a six figure income. AWESOME!
can't aggie fans accept that USU played on pure emotion vs. BYU? USU does not understand the word Competitive. They looked like they had no clue what they were doing. Even Idaho competed against Fresno.
I agree with the fact that the USU football team played with no emotion against SJSU. It is something that is very hard for me to watch. BUT your tuition did not pay for the renovations to the stadium, AND if you had any knowledge of sport psychology, you would understand the importance of the renovation. This is not the cure all for the team but is a way of getting things going in the right direction. There are several aspects of the game that need to be looked at. It takes one step at a time.
