I have long suspected that the real reason for the war was to dismantle the federal government and therefore deregulate everything, including toxic chemicals that have been found to cause serious illnesses, developmental disorders of the unborn, and death.

If the federal debt is driven up high enough than federal funding for government programs will be cut. Everything from health care to government oversight has disappeared, not by Congress, but by the Bush Administration.

With deregulation comes disasters on Wall Street, bank and mortgage company failures, government bailouts at taxpayers expense. History repeat itself. In the early 1990's under the former Bush Administration, deregulator proponent now Senator John McCain was found to abuse his power and use bad judgement. He was one of the Keating Five.

History repeats itself. Will these cuts in studies on chemical materials result in another Bhopal, but in the United States due to deregulation and funding cuts. How many people will die, or children will be spontaneously aborted from the 80,000 different chemicals used by industries every day.

When will the American people understand that without government control economic disasters and chemical terrorism happens?

Under the Clinton Administration the federal government encouraged such policies as making below prime loans to high risk borrowers. This policy was contiued in the Bush administration.
