Comments about ‘Palin has blurred church-state line, review finds’

would be the outrage if she attended a Gay and Lesbian function as part of her responsibility as Governor to mingle with all types of people. OF COURSE she's going to mingle with religious people - there are RELIGIOUS PEOPLE in Alaska! Does Diane Feinstein mingle with Gays and Lesbians - YES, there's a lot of them in California - so what? This is all a part the liberal media's intent to demonize religious people. There IS a Free Exercise Clause as well as an Establishment Clause in the First Amendment and all of this "Church/State" hoopla infringes on a statesperson's right to exercise their religion (and find out about the religion of others) which she obviously was interested in doing as a Governor of all the people of Alaska including Christians and Jews.

Reports like this are necessary because of the agenda of the religious right. Although the mainstream media won't report on it because of pressure, the religious right believes that the US should be a Christian theocracy, that Christian doctrine should be taught in public schools and that taxpayer money should be used for it. We've seen under George Bush a case where at least part of the reason for starting a war was to promote his religion. Palin is more of the same, and I hope the press continues to cover her every move.
