Good Luck to Gordon Smith in the
up-coming election.
If I lived in Oregon, I would cast my vote
for Gordon Smith!!
This article shows that Smith is the classic politician--trying to be all things to all people. Wasn't it Abraham Lincoln who said this is impossible, at least in the long term?
There is no way Mr. Smith will be relected. His base no longer supports him. He appears to be more interested in winning re-election than what it right for the people of Oregon. I voted for him twice before but never again. I now several friends and assosiates that feel the same way. good bye Mr. Smith!
I live in Oregon and I'm not going to cast my vote for Sen Smith in the upcoming election. He's voted with GWB 90% of the time during his tenure in the Senate. And, as everyone knows, GWB has the lowest approval rating any any sitting American President for the last 100 years. Therefore Sen Smith lacks the judgement that's needed in these times and is out of step with America.
